One-Layer Simplicity Challenge 14

Hello everyone!  I’m here today with the One-Layer Simplicity Challenge 14.  This month the theme is Words, Words, Words!!

One Layer Simplicity Challenge

How amazing is that.  You can only use word stamps on your card.  No flowers, no background stamps, no image stamps of any kind.  Now, that is “simple” challenge!!

Take a look at my card:

Thinking of you repeated

I masked off my cardstock 1″ on all four sides.

I used Papertrey Ink Keep It Simple: Thinking Of You Stamp Set to stamp my sentiments in the center of my card using Papertrey Ink’s Summer Sunrise Ink, Tropical Teal Ink, Berry Sorbet Ink and Hawaiian Shores Ink.

I took my time and pealed the mask off and rounded the corners to finish off my card.

What do you think?  Let me know below!

  1. Hi there, Kymona. I really like your card. It is clean & simple with pretty colors. Also like how you have the card positioned. Where do you find out about all of these challenges? This is now two different challenges I found from you this week 😉 Also, how does twitter work for you? Do you think it is a good tool for crafters? I tried using it a few years ago and said no way, but maybe I need to check it out. Crafty Hugs, Tracie

    • Hey Tracie!! Thank you so much for your sweet comment. I really appreciate it. I find challenges when I visit other blogs and leave comments on their work. There are so many challenges out there that are amazing. I don’t get to play all the time so when I do, I love it. Twitter, I don’t really use twitter the way its suppose to. I set up my blog post to post there and that’s it. I don’t really check it. If someone messages me then I respond but I’m not on there checking it like other people. I prefer Instagram. I get a better result there. If you can set your blog post to post to twitter then do that and see what gives. I hope that helps!! Crafty Hugs back to you!
