Sending Love Your Way…

Hello everyone!!! I’m here today with the new DoubleClick Skittles Challenge!!

This weeks challenge is Something New!! With the new year coming, this theme is so fitting.

I used new goodies to create my card.  I love how it turned out.

Take a look:

Sending Love your way

Don’t you just love the vintage look that this card has?

Here is a list of all the new goodies that I used to create this card:

1. Waffle Flower Holiday Labels – Give Thanks Set

2. Waffle Flower Holiday Label 1 Die

3. Bo Bunny Pop Quiz Pattern Paper

This card was super easy to create.

Here is how:

1. I cut my card base to an A2 size (4.25 x 5.50)

2. I cut 1/2″ strips of pattern paper and adhered them next to each other.

3. I inked the edge of my card with distress ink for a vintage look.

4. I wrapped linen thread around the card and tied a bow on the front of the card.

5. I stamped my sentiment with black ink and die cut it with my label die cut.

6. I adhered the label with foam adhesive.

7. I added Sunshine Yellow Skittles to finish off my card.

I totally love this card.  Such a non-traditional valentines day card.

What do you think about my card?  Please let me know.  I would love to hear from you.

Now its your turn to join us and play along with our challenge this week.

I hope to see you there.

Happy Holidays and Giveaway!!

Hello everyone!!  I’m here today on the Sweet Stamp Shop sharing another gift packaging.

I’m always looking for different ways to present gifts to people that I care about. I think it gives an added touch to the gift. So thanks to my new blogging friend Nicole from Unity Handmade, who taught me how to make this awesome packaging.

Well today’s gift is for my daughter’s teacher. Teacher’s get so many gifts from their students. Which means teacher’s have to write thank you notes to show their appreciation. So as apart of my daughters gift to her teacher, we included thank you cards.

Now you can just give them the cards wrapped in a nice ribbon or clear box but made a really cute package out of pattern paper that houses the thank you cards.

Take a look:

Happy Holiday 1

Can you image getting a set of cards in this packaging. I love this little box.

Take a look at the opening:

Happy Holidays Closeure

The thank you cards fit so neatly inside of the box. This box holds 4 cards and envelopes.

We are family!!

Hello everyone!!  I’m here today with Addicted To CAS Challenge.  The code word is: Family!!

ATCAS - code word familyWhen I saw this code word, I knew I had to use my new Create a Smile Monster Party stamp set.  Those monsters are so cute!  They make such a great family!!

Take a look:

Monster Family

Aren’t they cutest family!!  This reminds me of a family portraiture where everyone is doing there only thing.

I choose that sentiment from The Alley Way Stamps Rock Solid because its so fitting for me.  I have so many people in my life that treat me like family and I love that for that.  Its such a nice feeling.

So here is how I created this card:

1. I used Simon Says Stamp School House Red cardstock for my card base.

2. Then I used Stampin’ Up! Decorative Dots Embossing Folder to create this funny dots on the front to my card base.  I though these dots were so fitting for my Monster Family!

3. I used Stampin’ Up! Deco Labels Framelit Die and cut out the largest frame on the front of my card base.

4. I stamped my Monster Family on Neenah Solar White cardstock and then colored them using my Copic markers.  I’m not perfect but I getting better with them, LOL!!

In order from left to right:

small monster: Go2, G04

big monster: B00, B02, B04, R29

small monster: R24, R27

big monster: Y13, Y15, Y19

flowers: G04

5. I stamped the small star-like stamp and the sentiment stamp using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

6. I used foam adhesive to my color panel and attached it to the red card base.

7. I added glossy accents to the blue monster’s eye and Clear Wink of Stella to all of my monsters.

Watercolor Love

Hello everyone!!  I’m here with a2zScrapbooking and our December Challenge!!

I have another card featuring our theme this month, which is Watercoloring.

Take a look at what I created:

Watercolor Love

What do you think? I love these two colors together. They just works so well together.

How my card was created:

1. I used painters tape to cover 1″ of my card panel on all 4 sides.

2. I added water to the center of the card so that my paint could move freely.

3. Then I added my two colors to the watercolor color paper.

4. I used my heat tool to dry my card panel.

5. I used the heart from Hero Arts Stamp and Cut Hearts set to stamp the hearts in the center of the panel.

6. I added a faux stitched line around the watercolor panel and Hero Arts Gems for some interest.

7. I added my card panel to my black card base.

Wow, isn’t this the cutest valentines day card you seen in December, LOL!!

Well, now its your turn!!

All of the supplies I used can be found at the a2z Scrapbooking Store. If you would like to purchase any of the supplies I used please head on over to the store and use the coupon code KYMONA15 to get 15% off your purchase.
