Lets Talk About That Sharpener

Let’s Talk About This Sharpener!

I picked up this Kutsuwa Stad Angle Adjustable Sharpener yesterday from the Pencil Enterprise in the city and I have to admit I love it !

Here’s why:

1. It sharpens to 5 different pencil angles! The smallest (my favorite) is 1 and the tallest is 5!

2. It has a close feature. You can lock it, preventing things from going into the sharpener opening.

3. It comes in 5 different colors! Blue, Green, Black, Pink, and Orange!

4. It’s small in size so it’s easy to travel with! Just drop it in your bag and go!

5. The pencil trash is stored in a compartment in the back. You push and slide to empty!

6. It’s super cute!

If you are in the NYC area, stop on by Pencil Enterprise to pick up a blue one.

If not you can order them from Amazon  or from Jetpens!

Are you ready to talk about that sharpener? Any questions, let me know!

{CASology and Simple} CASology – Melt

Hello everyone!!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card:

Take a look at my card:

I have to say this cue card was so hard for me.  I was challenged to use STAMPlorations Stitched Winter Landscape die and create a card that represented the cue card.

I decided to create a scene with snow melting from the ground, building and trees.  The sun has finally come out of hiding to warm us up.

I die cute the trees and hills and used Copic markers to color them in.  I used Simon Says Stamp Happy and Smile stamp set to stamp the sun and the sentiment using Clearsnap Colorbox Petal Point Ink and Colorbox Archival Pigment Black Ink.

Nice and Easy.

What do you think?

Pocket Page Spread with Gossamer Blue

Hello everyone!!  I’m here today with a pocket page spread with Gossamer Blue Life Pages Kit!

I haven’t created a pocket page in awhile so when I first pulled out my supplies I was a bit rusty, LOL!!  I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do or what photos to use.

So, I looked at the kit in its entirety and decided that I would let the journaling cards lead the way.

I loved all of the green color in the kit and I knew I could get photos with some green in it!

Take a look:

My one little word arrived so I knew I need to take a picture with it.  So I put on my green coat and went outside.  I am always behind the camera so its nice to be in front of it.

Note: I use my iPhone 6s Plus for most of my shot but for these photos I pulled out my Canon EOS 70D.

When I finished taking the photos, I sat down and put the page together.  I love the currently journaling card because I was working in the moment.  This wasn’t a planned page.  I added some simple embellishments from the kit for texture.

Perfect right!!  That was so easy to put together.

Do you create pocket pages? If not, will you start?  I would love to see them!!

What do you think about my pages?  I would love to know.  Please let me know below.

Don’t forget to check out Gossamer Blue site for all of the different kits available this month.

Using Deco Foil and Die Cuts

Hello everyone!!  I’m here today with a super easy card using Deco Foil and Die Cuts!

While I was at Creativiation in January, my friends from Thermoweb gave me a couple of the new Watercolor Deco Foil!! I have to say they are so pretty!! I haven’t had a chance to play with them until now.

Take a look at a picture I posted on Instagram when I came back:

Aren’t these colors pretty?  Here are the names:

  1. Deco Foil Transfer Sheets Amber Watercolor
  2. Deco Foil Transfer Sheets Summer Rainbow Watercolor
  3. Deco Foil Transfer Sheets Amethyst Watercolor
  4. Deco Foil Transfer Sheets Lapis Watercolor
  5. Deco Foil Transfer Sheets Emerald Watercolor

Since its St. Patrick’s Day, I figured today is the best time to use the Emerald Watercolor Deco Foil!

Take a look at my card:

I love the watercolor effect this foil gives off.

Here is how I created this card:

  1. I measured the Simon Says Stamp Lucky To Know You die so that I could measure the Deco Foil Peel n Stick Toner Sheets and theEmerald Watercolor Deco Foil.
  2. I placed the Emerald Watercolor Deco Foil on top of the Deco Foil Peel n Stick Toner Sheet and ran it through my laminator.
  3. Once the sheet comes out of the laminator, die cut the foil sheet.
  4. Since the toner sheet is a peal and stick, all you have to do is adhere it to the black cardstock.

Take a closer look:

Nice and easy. Using Deco Foil and Die Cuts are a fun way to make a quick card in no time.

What do you think?  I would love to hear from you below!

What’s even better is a SALE!!!

Thermoweb is celebrating National Craft Month and they are doing a Ultimate Deco Foil Giveaway!!

Plus you get 15% off and free shipping all month long on orders $15.00 or more.

Now that is awesome!!  Its time to shock up on all of your favorite Deco Foil products!

I’m going to pick up the Deco Foil Transfer Gel!  I was this gel in action at Creativation.  Its a must have.
