Technique Tuesday August 2018 Release Countdown Day 1
Hello everyone!!! Today I’m showcasing one stamp set from Technique Tuesday August 2018 Release!! I’m so excited about this release because its all about travel and as you are reading this post, I’m on a nice tropical vacation having a blast!! I will share as soon as I’m back!
Let’s take a look:
I love making list of the items I need to pack because believe it or not, I will forget some of the most important items. That’s because I wait to the day before to pack. LOL, I know, I know. Why would I do that, who knows but I do. So, this list reminds me of everything I need. My daughter laughs at me all the time.
I used Technique Tuesday Sassy Vacation Memories stamp step to decorate my planning page. The stamps are nice and small and perfect for my planner.
Here’s what I did:
- Stamp the two images and sentiment using Altenew Jet Black Ink.
- Color the images using Winsor & Newton Watercolors Pan Set.
- Add some stickers to the left of the page.
- Write down my list using Tombow Mono Drawing Pen.
Super easy and effective!

Altenew July 2018 Stamp/Die Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Take a look at my scrapbook picture frame:
I love combining my love for papercrafting with my new love for sewing. The new Circle Embroidery Hoop Die is perfect for me.
I love showcasing some of the super cute sewing projects that I create recently. This frame is going right on my way!
Here’s how to create this scrapbook picture frame:
- Die cut 3 hello’s from the new Simply Hello Die out of black cardstock using a Big Shot.
- Adhere them together using Tombow Mono Liquid Adhesive.
- Die cute 2 embroidery hoops from the Circle Embroidery Hoop Die set.
- Adhere them together using Tombow Mono Liquid Adhesive.
- Only die cut one of the hoops clasps out of silver glitter paper.
- Arranged the hello and the hoop where you want them to be.
- Place the sentiment die in the middle of the hoop and tape it down.
- Die cut the sentiment.
- Now adhere the hello and the hoop using Tombow Mono Liquid Adhesive
- Decide on the photos you want to use and cut them down to 2.5 by 2.5.
- Round the corners using We R Memory Keepers 3 Way Corner Pouch.
- Adhere them to the bottom of the page.
- Place the layout in a frame and done.
Very different and cool! Do you agree?

Today is National Simplicity Day, so I decided to keep my planner page as simple and fun as possible.
The warm weather has me eating ice cream everyday! My favorite ice is strawberry and thought it would be cool to showcase that in my panner.
Here’s how I created this planner page:
Stamp two ice cream cones and a heart from Altenew’s Way Too Sweet Stamp Set on the bottom left hand corner of the planner page.
Use the Artist Markers R301, R302, R304 and Y612 to color in the ice cream cones.
Print out a photo, round the corners with We R Memory Keepers 3 Way Corner Punch.
Use a penblade and cut out a portion of the heart so that the photo can sit behind it.
Adhere the photo with Altenew Glue Tape.
Stamp the sentiment under the photo and done!!!
Keeping the page since and simple!
