Guest Designing for Pink and Main + Giveaway

Hello everyone!!  I’m guest designing for Pink and Main today.  I’m super excited about this opportunity.

Here’s a sneak peek at one of the cards I created:

I used Pink and Main Inspire stamp set to create this multicolor butterfly card!  Those butterflies are perfect for multicolor stamping.  The stamp was shorter then the card size, so I stamped twice to have the butterflies stretch across the cardstock.

Stop on by Pink and Main’s blog today to see all of the other cards and projects I created.  I’m also doing a GIVEAWAY so you do not want to miss out on that.

{Clean And Simple} – Medicine

Hello everyone!!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card:

Take a look at my card:

When I saw this cue card, I thought of my nieces and nephews and the Band-Aid die cut from My Favorite Things.

Why do children love Band-Aids so much?  You can put one on a cut and to them, its all better.  Where did that concept come from.  They hurt to come off at times?  LOL!!

I thought these Band-Aids are the perfect medicine for little people.  What do you think?

I created theses for my nieces and nephews.  When they have a boo-boo I will send then one of these cards.  LOL!!

Nothing too it!!  Clean and Simple!!

What do you think?

Are you inspired to play along?  Please let me know below!

Scrapbooking Again

Hello everyone!!  I’m here today to share a scrapbook page I created using Altenew’s Reflection Scrapbook Collection.

Would you believe me if I told you I started crafting by creating scrapbook pages for my son.  I stopped a long time ago. I was introduced to some may different types of crafts that I slowly walked away from scrapbooking.

Last year, I started scrapbooking again by doing pocket pages.  Those are easy and fun but I missed the actually scrapbook page that I use to create.  So I decided to try my hand at it again.

Lets take a look:

I recently visited my nephew’s and had a blast with them.  My youngest nephew is 5 years old and he is quite the explorer.  He loves nature and everything it has to offer.  We went out to eat and while waiting to be seated he spotted a tree outside and he had to climb it.

I was so happy that my camera was ready.  I captured him looking out beyond the leaves and knew this would be a perfect shot.

Altenew is running their second sketch challenge and I figured I could join in on the fun.

Take a look at the sketch:

To create my page, I used my Brother ScanNCut Canvas online to create a heart.  I downloaded it to the ScanNCut and used it to cut out the heart from one of Altenew Scrapbook pages.

Then I adhered the heart to the white background using Tombow Permanent Mono adhesive.  I added dash lines around the heart to add dimension.

After that I picked out different embellishments to go with the theme of my page.  I placed them according to the sketch.

Let take a closer look:

I love how the embellishments are all color coordinated.

Adding thread, adds an extra layer of texture to this layout.  Super simple but effective.

So what do you think?  Did I follow the sketch? I would love to hear from you.

Rubber Dance Stamp May 2017 Theme Challenge

Hello everyone!!  I’m here today with Rubber Dance Stamp May 2017 Theme Challenge!!

Take a look at the theme for this challenge:

Check out what I created to inspire you:

Rubber Dance Stamp

I’m in love with this face stamp set called Face Up.  It comes with three different faces, big to small.  I paired it with Artfully Stamped.  The sentiment is perfect.

So for the Rule of Theme, I created three ATC cards with three elements: paint, image stamp and a sentiment stamp!!  Yayyyy!!

I love creating these ATC cards.  I used an old mixed media piece that I created weeks ago but wasn’t sure what to do with it.  Until now!!!

I just 3 ATC cards – size 2.5 by 3.5.  Then I used my Mini MISTI to stamp the image and sentiment at the same time on all three cards.  It took me 5 minutes from start to finish.

Super simple and easy!!

What do you think?  Please let me know below.  I would love to hear from you.

Guess what!!!  If you like this stamp set or any other stamp set from Rubber Dance Stamp, use coupon code: KTFreeShip for free shipping!!  YES, Free Shipping.

Printing on Glitter Paper

DID YOU KNOW SERIES!

Hello everyone!!  I’m here today again with another product from ETC Papers.  They have a product that I know you will love.  It’s Glitter Paper!!  Yes, glitter paper that does not create a mess.  As a matter of fact, I’m going to share with you what I created by printing on glitter paper.

ETC Inkjet Printable Glitter Paper come in three colors:

White
Champagne
Silver

This cardstock is a printable inkjet glitter paper that comes the three different color glitter finish.  It come in a 8.5 by 11 sheet size.  It has a smooth surface, with no mess glitter falling off.

Note: You can only use it with an INKJET PRINTER!

It will make your prints sparkle and shine beautifully.

Lets take a look:

First up: Simple sentiment printing

inkjet printable glitter paper

I used the White Inkjet Printable Glitter to create these sentiment only cards.  I used Photoshop to properly place each sentiment so that I could print both cards on one sheet of paper.

These quotes were taken from the a commencement speech that I heard this past Saturday.

Super easy and no damage at all to my printer.

Second up: Background Printing

inkjet printable glitter paper

For this card I used the Silver Inkjet Printable Glitter Paper to create this glittery background.  I used Hero Arts Artisitc Circles Digital Kit to create this amazing background. I used Concord and 9th All About You Dies to complete the card.

Here’s a closer look:

Can you see the glitter in this view? Its so pretty in person!!

Third up: Color Printing

inkjet glitter paper

For this card I used the Silver Inkjet Printable Glitter Paper to create this glittery background. I used Hero Arts Pretty Blossoms to add the flower in the center of this card.  I used Photoshop to add the orange color to the flower.  I used Papertrey Ink Ways to Say Thank You Die to finish the card off.

This card and the card above was printed on the same cardstock to save paper.

Take a look at all three of the colors:

inkjet glitter paper

Top row: White glitter paper, Champagne glitter paper, Silver glitter paper

Bottom row: White glitter paper, Champagne glitter paper, Silver paper

I love how all of these cards turned out!! I have a quick video of these cards printing that’s posted on Instagram.

Be mindful: Wrong side Printing

I made a boo-boo while I printing on one of the sheets. I put the sheet in the printer on the wrong side.

Take a look:

You can tell its the wrong side: 1. there is no glitter and 2. the label is on that side. LOL

Here’s a closer look:

Inkjet glitter printing

So be mindful when you place your paper in your printer.  Your printer will tell you which side is up.

Now let’s take a look at all of my completed cards:

inkjet glitter paper

Here are some other things you need to know about this paper:

  • Each color comes with 12 sheets to a pack.
  • Inkjet printing only.
  • The weight is basic cardstock.
  • The colors stay true to its color once printed.

I really loved working with this paper and I recommend that you give this paper a try.  Especially those of you who love glitter but do not use it because of the mess.

Where can you buy this paper?

On the ETC Papers website!!

{Clean And Simple} – Loud

Hello everyone!!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card:

Take a look at my card:

The cue card this week is pretty interesting.  I wanted to wanted to show the cue card in two ways, the look and the actual word.  So, I used Stampers Anonymous Crazy Thoughts stamp set because it provided both of these effects.

For added visual effects, I colored the image in with the Red(Lobster) Jane Davenport Mermaid Marker. I used the pure color that came out of the marker.  No need to dilute it with water. I wanted the color to be as vibrant as possible.

Nothing too it!!  Clean and Simple!!

What do you think?
