If your looking for the Mix and Match post, click here

Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card is:

Week 195 - Sprinkle

Take a look at my card:

Celebrate (CAS)

When I saw the cue card I thought of cupcakes right away!!  I couldn’t find my cupcake stamps but I ran into this Papertrey Ink Good Times stamp set that I never used.  I think I bought this last year and never inked it up.  So I thought this was a perfect time!!

Here is how I created it:

  1. Using the Mini Misti, stamped the dots on the top of the card base using Hero Arts Ombre Butter to Orange Ink.
  2. Using Versafine Black Ink to stamp the sentiment right under the ombre sprinkles.
  3. Round the bottom corners using the We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper.

Super easy, clean and simple!!

What do you think?  I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Believe with all your heart (SSS)

Totally awesome!!  This Black Slinky Dress stamp was one of the first stamps that Suzy sent me when we were starting up the design team for the first time.  So this is a timeless classic for me.

Black Slinky Dress

After creating this card, my daughter asked me, “what does this sentiment have to do with the dresses”?  I told her, “everyone has a right to feel sexy and getting into this dress will surely make us feel that way, but unless we believe with all of our hearts that we are sexy from within, we can’t expect people to see that beauty when we aren’t in this dress”.  She said ok mom!  LOL!!!

There is education even in card making!!

{Clean and Simple} CASology 194 – Mom

Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card is:

Week 194 - Mom

Take a look at my card:

Love you Mom (CAS)

I can’t believe Mother’s day is around the corner.  Time is flying by so quickly. It was just New Years, LOL!!

When I saw this  cue card, I went searching for a Mother’s Day stamp set and can you believe I didn’t buy any in 2016!!  I really thought I that I did. So, I searched my stash and found this WPlus9 Love Mom set that I bought last year and its perfect.  How many stamps do you need that says mom.  One! – and that is what I have!  LOL!!

Creating this card was super easy.

I used Mama Elephant Femme Frame to die cut the Lawn Fawn Sunflower card stock.  I made a mistake.  Instead of leaving the top of the card uncut, I cut the card base in two.

So I scored the top of the back card base and taped them together using Tombow Extreme Adhesive.

Mistake (CAS)

What a way to save the cardstock!!

I used the smaller square die cut to cut the front panel.

I used the Mini Misti to stamp the sentiment and the heart on the front panel. Using Versafine Onyx Black Ink and Lawn Fawn Lobster Ink.

The card panel was adhered to the card base using Plus Glue Tape.

Once my card was complete it look way to bare so I decided that it needed one more thing.

Plain (CAS)

So I decided after much thought to add, some Papertrey Ink Cream Cotton Baker’s Twine.  I used the number 11 Penblade’s trimming grove to cut the twine.

Nice finished touch.

What do you think?  I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
