Altenew December 2018 Stamp/Die/Paper Pack Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello everyone and welcome to Altenew’s December 2018 Release Blog Hop!! Today we are showcasing all of the new stamps, dies, and paper packs.  If you arrived here from the talented Amanda Korotkova blog, then you are on the right track. If you arrived here on your own, then you will want to start at the beginning, the Altenew Card Blog so that you don’t miss a thing!

Take a look at my 6 x 6 patterned paper scrapbook:

I love Altenew’s new paper pack called Verdant Walk. The paper is nice and thick and doesn’t need chipboard for reinforcement.

I also love combining my love of sewing supplies with my scrapbook supplies.

Here’s how I created this album:

Verdant Walk Paper Pack

Decide on how many pages you want your album to consist of. For this one I created a 5 page album.

Using the new Mega Greeting 3 stamp, I stamped the sentiment on the first patterned paper, creating the cover.

With the large grommet, I created a hole in the top left hand corner.

Once each piece of paper had a hole, I used the grommet pliers to close the grommet around the paper.  Do not squeeze to tight. You want the papers to slide around the grommet.

Add the photos to the center of each paper using glue tape and two black enamel dots from the Green Field Enamel Dots set to decorate each paper.

Verdant Walk Paper Pack

Friends are everything right?! Such a great way to show them off. What do you think?

Altenew December 2018 Marker/Embellishments Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello everyone and welcome to Altenew’s December 2018 Release Blog Hop!! Today we are showcasing all of the new markers and embellishments.  If you arrived here from the talented Gayatri Murali blog, then you are on the right track. If you arrived here on your own, then you will want to start at the beginning, the Altenew Card Blog so that you don’t miss a thing!

Take a look at my kraft scrapbook:

Super clean and simple kraft scrapbook is perfect for any occasion.

For the front of this scrapbook, I used the Sweet Hearts Adhesive Wood Veneers to create a simple title.

Take a look inside:

This scrapbook was created with several pieces of dessert storm cardstock and bind the book using the We R Memory Keepers Cinch.

I used dessert storm cardstock because its so neutral and matches with any color added to it. This allows the scrapbook to focus on different occasions within the year.

Green Fields Enamel Dots

One the first page, I created a pocket and a tag for my journaling. Its a private message to my niece. I tucked it away, so that others can view the pages but not the message upon opening it.

I decorated these page with the Green Fields Enamel Dots and the Butterfly Acetate Die Cuts.

Butterfly Acetate Die Cuts
I love adding texture behind my photos because it adds depth. Adding the date with the date stamp is a perfect way keep track of when events happen.

Clean and Simple Cards using Heffy Doodle Stamps

Hello everyone!! Kymona here with some clean and simple cards using Heffy Doodle Stamps!

For those of you who do not know or haven’t heard of Heffy Doodle let me give you some history!

Heffy Doodle produces high quality, versatile stamps and dies for the crafting world. Lesley Oman, aka Hungry Heffy is the companies creative and energetic founder. Lesley’s husband Craig tried to convince Lesley to turn her doodles into stamps, but she was way to busy making cards to listen. It was July 2017, when Lesley realized her husband had a great idea and hence Heffy Doodle was born!!!

Take a look at some of the goodies you can find in their online shop:

Let’s take a look at my clean and simple cards:

For the first card, I used the Numicon Stencil to create a very colorful background for a unique birthday card.

Stamping the sentiment from the Big Bold Words Stamp Set with Versamark Ink and then embossing it with Silver Embossing Powder packs a powerful punch.

For the second card, I simple die cut both the Hey and Honey die out of glitter paper and adhered it to the card front.

Super simple and easy.

Both cards turned out beautiful! They didn’t require much work either. They can be reproduce over and over in no time.

I hope you check out the other stamps, dies and goodies from Heffy Doodle. Let me know what you think of these clean and simple cards and the products I shared with you today.

Joyous Juniper Crafting Dies

Beau and Beatrice Beaver Stamp Set

Beau and Beatrice Beaver Crating Dies

Let’s look at what I created:

365 Days

My favorite stamp set from this months release is this stamp set called 365 Days! This stamp set can be used all year round. On cards, in your planner and scrapbook pages!

Creating this card was easy.

Here’s how:

  1. Cut the desert storm cardstock to 5.50 by 4.25, scored at 4.25.
  2. Randomly stamp the sentiment on the card front using Versamark Ink.
  3. Sprinkle clear embossing powder over the stamped sentiments and heat set it.
  4. Stamp the sentiment again on lime green cardstock using Versafine Ink.
  5. Use a scallop punch to punch the sentiment out.
  6. Adhere the scallop punch cardstock to the front of the card front using foam dots.

Nice and easy!

Let’s take a closer look:
