If you arrived here on your own, then you will want to start at the beginning, Technique Tuesday blog so that you don’t miss a thing!
Take a look at my owl card:
I love this rainbow owl. Are you wondering where those colors came from. Take a look at this owl I found online.
Now my favorite owl is the white snow owl, but I figured this would be fun to color a rainbow owl.
Here’s how I created this card:
Cut the cardstock to 4 by 8 score at 4. Make the card size 4 by 4.
Emboss the card front with a woodland embossing folder.
Stamp the owl with Altenew Crisp Black Permanent Black Ink.
Color the owl using Tombow Recycle Coloring Pencils.
Die cut the owl with the coordinating die set.
Adhere the owl to the card front with foam tape.
Stamp the sentiment using Altenew Crisp Black Permanent Black Ink.
Round the bottom left corner of the card using We R Memory Keepers 3 Way Corner Punch.
Nice and easy.
What is a blog hop without an amazing gift? Yayyy!!

Sweet owl card!
I am new to cardmaking and appreciate the tips I learn from folks like you. Thank you for sharing the owl photo for your inspiration. I see you embossed before stamping and wonder what happens when you stamp before embossing (specifically on raised areas). I will have to try both. 🙂
Hello Karen! Thank you so much. If you stamped before you embossed you would get the same result. Give it a try.
