Hello, and welcome to Altenew February 2020 Blog Hop!! Today we are showcasing brand new stamp sets, dies, stencils, a cutting mat, and artist watercolors. If you arrived here from the talented blog, The Hedgehog Hollow, then you are on the right track. If this is your first stop, then you will want to start at the beginning, the Altenew Card Blog.
Take a look at my planner pages:
Documenting moments in your planner is a great way to keep all of your thoughts in one place. I just found out that one of my favorite stores is closing its doors in April.
The Alpaca stamp set is perfect for this particular memory. Lion Brand Yarn Shop in NYC is closing its doors after 11+ years. I’ve taken many classes there, bought supplies and lots of yarn. After I learned how to knit many years ago, Lion’s Brand was the shop to buy the best wool.
It’s sad to see them go, but I totally understand.
For these simple pages, I used the Alpaca stamp set.
Stamp the image four times using Altenew’s Obsidian Pigment Ink.
Then color the Alpaca’s bandana using the brand new Artist Watercolors.
Once the watercolor dried, stamp the sentiment using the brand new Ornamentals Bliss stamp set and the Hello and Hugs stamp set.
Journal a bit and done.
What is a blog hop without an amazing gift? Yayyy!!!

I knit so I too was sad about the Lion Brand studio. I do not live in the city so it won’t really impact me but it’s sad when something fabulous leaves.
Fun pages. Sorry they are talking about
something closing – happens too often lately.
