Hello, and welcome to Altenew June 2020 Blog Hop!! Today we are showcasing brand new stamps, dies, stencils, and more. If you arrived here from the talented blog, Svitlana Shayevich, then you are on the right track. If this is your first stop, then you will want to start at the beginning, the Altenew Card Blog.
Take a look at my stamp wooden bowl:
I used Altenew’s brand new Wild & Free Stamp Set to makeover this plain wooden bowl.
I love the whimsical look of the flowers and sentiments with this stamp set. No coloring needed.
Stamping this bowl is easy:
Decide on which images you want to stamp on the side and inside the bowl.
Use a small stamp block to stamp each of the images.
What do you think? Will you try stamping on wood? Please let me know?
What is a blog hop without an amazing gift? Yayyy!!!
Prizes:
To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 6 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Mixed Media Blog by 6/9/2020 for a chance to win.

great idea for an “out” of the box idea
What an awesome idea to stamp on wood!! Love the outcome! Is it just stamping or can you heat emboss or coat it to seal the image?

I was surprised not to see a card (silly me). How creative to use stamps on wood! It is lovely, and such a clean crisp image. I am showing this to my friend who makes wonderful wood pieces. Thank you so much for stepping out of the box( or bowl).
Hello Patricia!! Thank you so much. I always use stamps in different ways. I love showing everyone how to stretch their stamps!
Kymona-funny that I’ve ink-colored wood elements before, but never thought to use a stamp on them. Thanks for beautifully showing us how easily it can be done!
Thank you Julie!!
Wow what a great idea!
Thank you Karen!
Love it! At first I thought you stamped on tissue paper and then glued it on the piece. I wouldn’t have thought to stamp right on the piece. Not sure if I’m brave enough to stamp directly on an object, I have become so dependent on using my stamping tool… you did a great job. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Barbara!! Yes, you can stamp on any material with the right ink!
That is so cool Looking!! I have never thought to stamp on wood! Thanks for the great idea!

I apologize for calling you Erum, Kymona. Obviously my brain took a “mental pause”.
I love this project! It’s so fun to see different ways of using stamps other than on cards or page layouts.
