Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Daffodil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello, and welcome to Altenew June 2020 Blog Hop!! Today we are showcasing brand new paint-a-flower stamp set. If you arrived here from the talented blog, Amber Rain Davis, then you are on the right track. If this is your first stop, then you will want to start at the beginning, the Altenew Card Blog.

Take a look at my wooden tag key chains:

Daffodil stamp set

Stamping on wood is one of my favorite ways to craft. It’s exquisite, and it looks a lot like wood burning.

Decorating these wooden pieces is easy.

Daffodil stamp set

Simply ink up the stamp with ink that works on wood and stamp where you want the image to appear.

Now its time to stamp a sentiment. I want to use the word love, so I cover the rest of the sentiment with tape.

Once the word is entirely ink, remove the tape and stamp the sentiment where you want it.

Repeat with the second wooden tag.

  1. This set went straight to the top of my wish list!
And I love this wonderful idea. What a quick and
    easy gift for anyone!

  2. Always fun to visit you and check out your clever project! I have some wood paper I would definitely CASE your project!!

  3. I love how nice and crisp you get your images on the wood tags – sometimes I have trouble with bleeding, so I have had to prep with a thin layer of clear gesso or gel medium to seal the wood before. I love the idea of these tags – I would be tempted to use them for give tags/plant picks for garden/plant gifts. Like I have a nice lavender stamp that would be cool for a pot of lavender or a planter of herbs for example! Thanks for the inspiration.

  4. Very cool idea. I have never stamped on wood, but when our stores re-open I am going to hunt for wooden tags to practice on. This newest PAF seems perfect for this! Thanks for sharing.

  5. What a beautiful, fun project. I would have never thought of making key chain tags, but these are wonderful. Great way to use this wonderful, gorgeous daffodil set.

  6. WOW, what a great project. Never stamped on wood, but can’t wait to try this technique. Thanks for sharing your creative idea.
