Altenew Build-A-Flower: Daffodil Release

Hello everyone and welcome to Altenew’s Build-A-Flower: Daffodil Release Blog Hop!! Today we are showcasing the amazing daffodil flower.  If you arrived here from the talented Laura Jane blog, then you are on the right track. If you arrived here on your own, then you will want to start at the beginning, the Altenew Card Blog so that you don’t miss a thing!

Take a look at my envelope journal:

Daffodil’s are my favorite flower! They are so pretty and petite. Plus, they aren’t expensive!

Here’s how I created this envelope journal:

Gather 5 envelopes that you want to use.

Add adhesive to the outside flap of the envelope. Not the side that already has the tape.

Slide the flap inside one of the envelopes so that the edges meet.

It should look like this.

Continue to add envelopes.

Cut the flap off of the first envelop to create the book.

Decorate the book to your style. This stamp set has amazing sentiments. So encouraging.

Stamp each page and add journaling cards inside of each flap.

Add photos of daffodils thought out the book.

Add tabs and sentiments on the back page.

Let’s take another look:

What is a blog hop without an amazing gift? Yayyy!!

Gratitude. A feeling of appreciation or thanks. So simple, yet so mighty. It becomes mightier as we practice it in our lives. Growing it in a group makes it all the stronger.   This journal will help to reinforce it and give us a great reference that keeps us grounded.  Just imagine after one month how your attitude, those around you and your life will change.  Change your heart. Change your mind. Change your life. A month of gratitude. A month of miracles….again!
I’m so excited to be teaching and sharing what I’m grateful for with all of you.  I hope you join me on this journey!!

Today I share with you a piece of my art that I am grateful for and why.

My family means the world to me and I am so grateful for them.  I’m the oldest of 6 children, 3 boys and 3 girls.  We speak every single day.  I would not trade any of them for anyone thing else in this world.

My journal is a clean and simple junk journal with some mixed media included.

Now for the other good stuff.  Here is how you can win A FREE SPOT

To enter for a chance to win, leave a comment below telling me something that you are grateful for. I can’t wait to hear from all of you.  This giveaway ends on October 13, 2017 at 11:55 pm. One winner will be randomly chosen and announced on the October 15th.
