CASology 152 – Nautical and Giveaway

Hello everyone!! It’s CASology Tuesday!! We are back with another Cue Card for you!!

This week’s cue card is interesting.  If you love the ocean and everything that goes with it you are going to love this week’s cue card!

This week’s cue card:

Week 152 - Nautical

I totally thought out of the box for my card!!

Take a look:

Don't Worry (CAS)

I created this boat lifesaver using Simon Says Stamps Circle Stitched Dies and The Twinery Midnight Blue Solid Twine!!  I had fun creating this card.

My sentiment was stamped using Mama Elephant True Friend Sentiment, Lawn Fawn Deep Sea Ink and my Misti!

Check out the inside of my card:

Don't Worry inside(CAS)

The anchor is holding my lifesaver in place.  I love this!!  I tickle myself.  I used the same stamp set to stamp my sentiment on the inside of this card.

I used a retired Stampin’ Up! brad as the anchor.

Super simple and easy.

  1. Love the graphic feel of this card, and totally love the way you have ‘anchored’ your lifesaver. Perfect nautical card, and a fabulous card to give to a friend who needs some cheering up!

  2. You are so creative, Kymona! I love how you created your own life preserver and the crisp, clean color combo is so pretty!

  3. I just love this card so simple and pretty. I also follow you on IG you are very talented. Thank you for the chance to win!

  4. I love this card Kymona! Not only was it clever the way you made the life saver on the front of the card, but I really enjoyed what you did with the inside of your card as well. Not only the saying, but the way you “anchored” the life saver on the inside of the card was genius and so darn creative. Thanks for sharing and for giving us the chance to win some great nautical-themed stamp sets. You’re the best! {{{hugs}}}

  5. I LOve ‘out of the box’ Kymona, and you’ve definitely delivered! Very cute idea for the inside ‘anchor’. Must remember this! Darling addition to The Challenge gallery – please do come play cards with us again, soon!

  6. Wow, what a very generous giveaway! Thank you so much for the chance to win some of these, I don’t own any of their stamps and they all look so cute. Your CASology card is absolute genius! To have a simple circle die and turn it into a lifesaver…it really is spectacular!

  7. Hello again, Kymona! In addition to my comment above, I want to add: Thanks so much for playing along with us this week at Addicted to CAS!

  8. Kymona, what a brilliant card! Not only is the life preserver a great idea, but the way you anchored it to the inside of your card is so fun and surprising! CUTE!!!!

  9. Love your card simple and beautiful. I am a newbie in cardmaking. I usually make cards for family members and it brings a joy to my/their hearts. I made a card for my hubby with our son (same shade of blue, white and grey) for the first time, after making for others over two years. He LOVED IT! Good Luck in the competition! My son would love this so I had to enter, thanks.

  10. It’s incredible how with one sentiment and that Life Saver speak so many word with so little words used. Very very clever. Awesome card and congrats on being a winner over at Addicted to CAS!
