Hello everyone!! I’m here today just popping in to share my homework for my new Online Card Class called Background Check!!
Its all about creating different backgrounds for our card designs. Day 2 was all about creating backgrounds using stamping techniques. The possibilities are endless with this type of designs.
So I started with Kristina’s technique which is Dye and Pigment Ink Stamping.
Take a look at my card panel that I created:
I used Lawn Fawn Argyle Backdrops to create this pattern. I used Papertrey Ink Summer Sunrise, Hawaiian Shores, and Berry Sorbet Dye Ink. I also used Hero Arts Unicorn Pigment Ink.
I love how this turned out. I have to try this with other pattern stamps that I have in my stash.
Now I have to go to finish up Day 2 and start on Day 1. I’m working backwards but I’m ok with that.
What do you think? Let me know below.

Great job on the technique!!
Hey Jean!! Thank you so much for your great comment. It was super fun.
Love the look you created and your color choice! I tried this technique, but mine wasn’t as cute as yours is! You’re motivating me to go back and try again. Thanks! Cathy
Hey Corysnana!! Thank you so much for your wonderful comment. We are learning so don’t be so hard on yourself. I bet we all would love you. You have to share if you haven’t already. I’m going to look. You must, must keep trying. If your truly not happy with yours, keep trying. Do you have the Fiskers stamp press? If not you should get one, it really helped with lining everything up. Please keep trying, you will get it the way you want it!!
Fabulous background! Love the technique… Way to Go 🙂
