Hello everyone and welcome to Altenew’s Build-A-Flower Blog Hop!! Today we are showcasing the all of the different Build-A-Flower stamp sets Altenew carries. If you’ve arrived here from the talented Virginia Lu blog, then you are on the right track. If you arrived here on your own, then you will want to start at the beginning, the Altenew Card Blog so that you don’t miss a thing!
Take a look at my Scrapbook Planner Layout:
I used Altenew Blissful Bud stamp set!! I know its not named a Build-A-Flower stamp set but you do build these roses.
I decided to continue with scrapbooking in my planner because it’s doable and I love how my planner pages look day-to-day.
Have you ever worked with people that you truly loved? Have you worked with co-workers that you consider family? Well I have and I have to say that I miss them a lot. So I decided that I had to document them in my planner. I meet these ladies 7 years ago when I return back to Bellevue to work. We’ve laughed together, cried together, brainstormed together, and encouraged one another. I miss them so much. They deserve a page in my planner!!
Here’s how I created this Planner Scrapbook Layout:
I’m using a Hobonichi Techo 2018 this year. I love how small and compact it is. Scrapbooking in this planner is so easy because space is limited and I’m not required to fill a whole page.
Print the photo you want to use in your planner. The picture above was printed with the FijiFlim INSTAX Share SP-2 Smart Phone Printer.
Stamp the stem using Altenew Green Meadow ink set. Start with Altenew Just Green Crisp Dye Ink then stamp the inner stem piece using Altenew Hunter Green Crisp Dye Ink.
Follow the steps to stamp the leaves using the same colors or the other two colors in the same Green Meadow set.
Now its time to stamp the rose bud. Following the same steps as the stem, choose three different colors to build the rose bud. I used Altenew Tea Party Oval Set to build the rose bud.
Start from the lightest color to the darkest color. I started with Altenew Pink Pearl, then Coral Bliss and ended with Heart Beat.
Once the rose are complete, its time to stamp the sentiments to go along with the photo. Along with the sentiment from Blissful Bud, I used a couple of sentiments from Altenew’s Beautiful Inside stamp set using Altenew Permanent Black Crisp Ink.
Complete the page with some journaling.
Perfect!!!
Let’s take another look:
I love knowing that I can open my planner and see this page.
What is a blog hop without an amazing gift? Yayyy!!

This is cute, I feel the same way about my coworker. She’s amazing. Tfs
Yes, I have worked with people who I consider family! We can go a tear or more without talking and then pick right up where we left off. Unfortunately she is much older than I am and is starting to forget people and things. It hurts to know that we may never have another conversation but I have many wonderful memories of our crazy antics in and out of work.
Your planner Scrapbook pages are a beautiful reminder for you! TFS!
