Altenew July 2018 Stencil Release Blog Hog

Hello everyone and welcome to Altenew’s July 2018 Stencil Release Blog Hop!! Today we are showcasing all of the new Stencil.  If you arrived here from the talented Dana Gong blog, then you are on the right track. If you arrived here on your own, then you will want to start at the beginning, the Altenew Card Blog so that you don’t miss a thing!

Take a look at my Mini Traveler’s Notebook:

Molded Lines Stencil

Let me introduce to you the Molded Lines Stencil!! I love this stencil because it reminds me of the Continental Airlines who merged with United Airlines in 2012.

My daughter and I are traveling out of the country this month and can’t wait to document our trip. I created a mini traveler’s notebook so that we could document our great adventure each day.

Not only did I decorate the cover but the backside as well.

Molded Lines Stencil

To do that you simple turn the stencil over so that the lines go in the same direction. Super cool!

I added stickers from the Reflection Collection Paper & Sticker Sheet and stamped the sentiment from the Reflection Collection Mini Stamp Set.

Let the vacation begin!!

What is a blog hop without an amazing gift? Yayyy!!

  3. What a wonderful booklet to make to let your daughter & you share your travel adventures in. I think it’s a grand idea. I tend to use a different little notebook each time & consequently, nothing has continuity. I really like the colours you used as well as the stencil.

  4. Wonderful cover – so warm! I love the possibilities of stencils … soft, crisp, textures … I’m taken by the city scene, step builder and elegant swirls!

  5. Thank you so much for sharing the lovely journal…..I love this new stencil. In fact, I have my eye on three right now that are my favorites…..thank you for participating in this fun blog hop.

  6. I like how you used the Molded Lines stencil (one of my favs in thjs release) on your traveler’s journal. I love planners and journals as well. Also, thanks for introducing me to Papertrey. I had never heard of them.

  7. Fabulous cover for your travel notebook. This stencil is a definite must for my craft room. I love this stencil release. TFS 🙂

  8. Creative use of stenciling. Give a wonderful “feel” of movement & possibility to your travel journal!

  9. These are some more spectacular and unique stencils. Love the amazing results that you achieved on your little book. I already have some on my wish list. Thanks for the inspiration!

  10. This is such a fabulous idea! I wish I had journaled more on our recent trip to Seattle and Alaska.
I now have to go by memory … not so great at my age! LOL

  11. I love your adorable travel journal and it will be even more special to you later on because it was hand-made by you! 🙂

  12. What a wonderful idea! I am going on a long trek this fall, and think I will make me one of those super cool books! Will be great to journal in. Thanks so much for the inspiration!

  13. I was so excited to see your post. I had mentioned in an earlier post how I was going to use the stencils in my Traveler’s Notebook. So happy to see one in action! Have a fabulous trip.
