Taylor Expressions 10th Birthday Celebration

Yayyyy! I’m so excited to celebrate with Taylored Expression on their 10th Anniversary! They’re having a HUGE party. Almost 40 designers are involved in this celebration!! All of the links to this hop is listed on Taylored Expressions Blog. Follow along as to not miss any of the designers amazing work.

Taylored Expressions new released went live last night and is available now!! Check it out here.

I designed for Taylored Expression from July 2016 to August 2017. I was apart of the Clearly Planned design team. It was amazing to be apart of a brand new team working with brand new stamps and dies. I fell in love with my planner because of this team. I am grateful to Taylor for believing in me.

This planner spread is one of my favorites. It’s from February 2017. I used Clearly Planned Love Struck  stamp set.

What better way to show my love for Taylored Expressions then to make a card!!!

Let’s take a look:

Bloomin birthday

Clean and simple is my style and this stamp set made it easy to accomplish that! This stamp set is called Bloomin Birthday. The simplicity of the flowers is fun.

Take a look inside:

Bloomin Birthday

What’s a greeting card without the sentiment inside. That’s why I added one. It completes the card.

What do you think? I would love to hear in the comment section below.

Share Joy Campaign

At the heart of Taylored Expressions is a mission to share joy through the gift of handmade cards. As part of their 10th birthday TE is continuing that mission with the launch of a special Share Joy campaign focused on providing birthday cards to those in nursing homes and assisted-living facilities across the U.S. To make as deep an impact as possible TE is inviting card makers everywhere to join the campaign. Will you join us? Find out how to participate by viewing their Share Joy page here: https://www.tayloredexpressions.com/share-joy-birthday-2018

I would love to see many of you participate in the Share Joy Campaign. Let me know.

Thank you so  much for stopping by!

STAMPtember Blog Party

Yayyy, the celebration has begun! Welcome to Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Blog Party!! Have you seen all of their new goodies? No, you are missing out! Check out the collection here.

I’m excited to join their block party this year. To see the entire list of party goes, stop on by Simon Says Stamp blog. The anticipation has been overwhelming. Are you ready to see what I created?

Let’s take a look:

Ornate Ornaments

I had the pleasure of playing with the new Simon Says Stamp Ornate Ornaments stamp set. This stamp set has five ornaments, six sentiments and a couple of playful fillers. Its perfect for Christmas cards, gift boxes and gift tags.

My favorite of the five ornaments is the elongated star. It reminded me of the star ornaments my mom use to hang on her tree. All of the same colors, with the center lighter then the rest.

Here’s how I created these tags:

Cut the Neenah Desert Storm cardstock to 3″, 2.5″ and 2″.

Use We R Memory Keepers Tag Punch Board to create the tags.

This punch makes it so easy to create tags in a snap. It took me 5 seconds to create these tags. No die cutting machine necessary.

Once the tags are cut, they are now ready to be stamped on.

My Sweet Petunia Mini MISTI comes in handy for continuous stamping. Once the stamps are all in place, all you have to do is re-ink and stamp. Love it!

Mini MISTI

When all of the tags are stamped, its time to color the images.

Color each star with Prismacolor Premier Color Pencils. Choose two colors that blend well together. I used the following:

Pink: 995, 993

Orange: 118, 917

Blue: 906, 1040

Green: 912, 909

Ornate Ornaments

To finish the tags off, add a little bit of Clear Wink of Stella, for a glittery shine and the ribbon/string.

What do you think? Are you making gift tags this Christmas? I would love to hear.

Story of December Days Stamp Set

Let’s look at what I created:

December Moments

Technique Tuesday released a fabulous stamp set called December Moments.  It a sentiment stamp set that you use to document those awesome moments in December.

Each year I buy all of these supplies and plan on participating in all of the December documenting and never do. The supplies just sit there and I look at it and say, “next year”, LOL!

Not this year. I decided to create a little book out of old cards that are numbered for each day in December. I will take a moment out of each day and document what happens.

December Moments

I stamped a couple of pages with the sentiments that I know I can document right away!

Nice and easy! Its small enough to fit in my bag so I can carry it with me everywhere in the month of December.

Not overwhelming at all.
