Happy Birthday To You Celebration with Technique Tuesday

Hello everyone!! I”m here today too because it’s someone’s birthday day and I would love to say Happy Birthday to you.

I have not made cards in a long time and was delighted to sit and make a couple of them for you today using Technique Tuesday’s Happy Birthday Stamp Sets.

If you remember, my card-making style has always been clean and simple.

These cards are a great representation of that style.

Sentiment stamps are my favorite because you can create any kind of card you want- from simple to elaborate just by using a couple of sentiments.

The stamp set I used to create these cards is the Large Birthday Stamp Set!

It has 8 sentiment stamps to choose from. Some are mixed fonts, and you can color in some of them. Creating different looks is easy with this set.

I love creating these little notebooks. They are easy to make and come in handy. They fit right in my pocket and handbag.

Clean and simple is my favorite style so that is what I created, with some basic coloring.

Altenew March 2019 Stamp/Die/Stencil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone and welcome to Altenew’s February 2019 Release Blog Hop!! Today we are showcasing all of the new stamps, dies, and stencils. I used Altenew Rennie Roses stamp set to create these super cute planner pages.

I simply stamped the different flower elements and used Tombow Recycled Color Pencils to color the images in.

The pocket tag was created with a piece of printer paper folded at the four corners, then folded in half. The left corner is folded into the right corner, creating the pocket.

I even stamped the back of the tag. That way when the photo is pulled out the tag isn’t blank.

Let’s look at what I created:

I love making shaker cards and this stamp set is perfect for that. The deer from Dani Deer Stamp Set is so cute and looks amazing once colored.

Closer look:

I used Tombow Recycled Colored Pencils to color the deer. I used snow flakes for the shaker. The frame was cut using Mama Elephant Union Square die set.

STAMPtember Blog Party

Yayyy, the celebration has begun! Welcome to Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Blog Party!! Have you seen all of their new goodies? No, you are missing out! Check out the collection here.

I’m excited to join their block party this year. To see the entire list of party goes, stop on by Simon Says Stamp blog. The anticipation has been overwhelming. Are you ready to see what I created?

Let’s take a look:

I had the pleasure of playing with the new Simon Says Stamp Ornate Ornaments stamp set. This stamp set has five ornaments, six sentiments and a couple of playful fillers. Its perfect for Christmas cards, gift boxes and gift tags.

My favorite of the five ornaments is the elongated star. It reminded me of the star ornaments my mom use to hang on her tree. All of the same colors, with the center lighter then the rest.

Here’s how I created these tags:

Cut the Neenah Desert Storm cardstock to 3″, 2.5″ and 2″.

Use We R Memory Keepers Tag Punch Board to create the tags.

This punch makes it so easy to create tags in a snap. It took me 5 seconds to create these tags. No die cutting machine necessary.

Once the tags are cut, they are now ready to be stamped on.

My Sweet Petunia Mini MISTI comes in handy for continuous stamping. Once the stamps are all in place, all you have to do is re-ink and stamp. Love it!

When all of the tags are stamped, its time to color the images.

Color each star with Prismacolor Premier Color Pencils. Choose two colors that blend well together. I used the following:

Pink: 995, 993

Orange: 118, 917

Blue: 906, 1040

Green: 912, 909

To finish the tags off, add a little bit of Clear Wink of Stella, for a glittery shine and the ribbon/string.

Altenew Color Therapy Blog Hop + Giveaway

Today is National Simplicity Day, so I decided to keep my planner page as simple and fun as possible.

The warm weather has me eating ice cream everyday! My favorite ice is strawberry and thought it would be cool to showcase that in my panner.

Here’s how I created this planner page:

Stamp two ice cream cones and a heart from Altenew’s Way Too Sweet Stamp Set on the bottom left hand corner of the planner page.

Use the Artist Markers R301, R302, R304 and Y612 to color in the ice cream cones.

Print out a photo, round the corners with We R Memory Keepers 3 Way Corner Punch.

Use a penblade and cut out a portion of the heart so that the photo can sit behind it.

Adhere the photo with Altenew Glue Tape.

Stamp the sentiment under the photo and done!!!
