Hello everyone!! It’s that time again, Technique Tuesday April 2019 release is here!
Welcome to Technique Tuesday April 2019 Release Blog Hop!! Today we are showcasing all of the new stamps and dies. If you arrived here from the talented Ana Anderson blog, then you are on the right track. If you arrived here on your own, then you will want to start at the beginning, the Technique Tuesday blog so that you don’t miss a thing!
Take a look at what I created:
I love when I have the opportunity to combine my love of stamping with my love of sewing.
I sewed this apron so that I could use Technique Tuesday Growing Garden to decorate it. I love how it turned out. I wish I photograph the sewing process but didn’t think of it until after I completed it. LOL!!
Let’s take a closer look:
No color was add because I wanted to stay with the black and white design.
Decorating the boarder with the growing plant stamp really made the boarder pop.
I love how all of the stamps coordinate with one another. That made it easy to decorate each pocket.
This apron is on its way to my good friend in North Carolina. She started a garden in her backyard and this gift would be perfect for her.
Let’s take another look:

Now this is just lovely! What a wonderful personalized little gardening apron and fabulous sewing project – super creative! TFS!
This is so clever! I love that you are combining two of your favorite crafts into one awesome project. Can you share what type of ink you used on the fabric? Is there a particular type of fabric you find works best to be stamped on?
Hello Shelley!! Thank you so much. I’m sorry for the delay. I used VersaCraft black ink. This ink will allow you to stamp on any fabric. I used quilting cotton and linen-cotton canvas fabric.
This!! I love it so much! What ink did you use to stamp the images on fabric?
Hello Angelica! Sorry for the delay. I used VersaCraft black ink. It perfect for fabric.
What a darling garden apron that I just could not use as I wouldn’t want to get it dirty!! Super cute way to show the versatility of the stamps. Very very creative.
What a cute idea. Nice for a gift. Great job.
Thank you so much Sharon!
