It’s Christmas time! LOL, no, not yet, but before you know it, it will be here. Say hello to the Gnome for Christmas Flannel collection by Tara Reed. It’s a soft, warm, and cozy collection for those cold winter months.

Gnomes for Christmas
Sewing Machine
Thread
Cutting Mat
Pins
Rotary Cutter

Step One: Cutting fabric

Cut two different pieces of the collection to 35 inches by 35 inches.

Step Two: Sew the panels

With a quarter-inch seam allowance, stitch all four sides leaving a three-inch hole for turning.

Step Three: Clean up and turn

Cut any edge that isn’t even, clip the corners and turn.

Step Four: Quilt the blanket

Free motion quilt or ruler quilt the blanket to your liking. I used a longarm and a heart ruler for quilting the edges of the blanket.

The blanket is finished!

Now it’s your turn!
