Let’s take a look at my stamped metal necklace and key chain:
I stamped one of the Carpe Diem stamp set sentiments to create a metal necklace and key chain. It’s perfect for gift giving.
Fika is often translated as “a coffee and cake break,” which is kind of correct, but really it is much more than that. Fika is an attitude, state of mind, and important part of the Swedish culture. I love how Altenew puts it – slow down and appreciate the good things in life. Which is what I’m trying to do.
It’s pretty simple how this is done.
Decided on the image that would fit on the metal piece you have.
Stamp the image with ink that is made for metal. I used Stazon.
Once stamped, heat set it but be careful because the metal will get hot.
Then I used a couple of metal hole punch to punch the hole at the top and a heart under the sentiment.
