Hello everyone!! It’s CASology Tuesday!! We are back with another Cue Card just for you!!
This week’s cue card is:
I was wondering what do I do with this cue card. When I think of distress, I think of ink and blending. How can I make a CAS card with different inks blending together? Nothing was coming to me that would be simple and WOW at the same time.
Then I remember I received a Tombow Mono Correction Tape and saw a super fun technique using this non-crafty tool.
Check out my card:
Do you see my distress banner? LOL!! I created that with correction tape!!
Here’s how:
I used the Mini Misti to stamp the flower image from Lawn Fawn Happy Easter Stamp Set.
Then I used the Tombow Mono Correction Tape Retro to create a distress box that my sentiment will go.
Once the correction tape was down, I used my finger to pick up some of the tape on the edges, so that it looks distress.
I used the Mini Misti and My Favorite Things Hybrid Ink to stamp the sentiment on the correction tape.
After that I, I used a Copic Mulitliner to draw a line around the distressed box.
To finish the card off, I used Tombow Irojiten Colored Pencils Dictionary, Rainforest Pale Tones to color my tulips.
Very non-conventional, but I love it!! I hope you give this method a try!!
What do you think? I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
