{CASology and Simple} CASology – Melt

Hello everyone!!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card:

Take a look at my card:

I have to say this cue card was so hard for me.  I was challenged to use STAMPlorations Stitched Winter Landscape die and create a card that represented the cue card.

I decided to create a scene with snow melting from the ground, building and trees.  The sun has finally come out of hiding to warm us up.

I die cute the trees and hills and used Copic markers to color them in.  I used Simon Says Stamp Happy and Smile stamp set to stamp the sun and the sentiment using Clearsnap Colorbox Petal Point Ink and Colorbox Archival Pigment Black Ink.

Nice and Easy.

What do you think?

Are you inspired to play along?  Please let me know below!

  1. Hi Kymona ~ I feel horrible that I never responded to your lovely card during the holidays. Life has been so insane for my family the last several months. My Mom was on life-support for awhile (only 3 days but in the hospital for two weeks) and then had to spend some time for rehabbing in a nursing home. My youngest daughter Katie (26) was in a car accident where the guy hit her so hard from behind that she had to have her hip surgically repaired at Albany Med. (No worries for her Mam, huh? LOL) That was back in October and she’s still in PT. The great news is that we’re celebrating our son Matt’s wedding on May 6th to a wonderful young woman who works in labor & delivery. They moved from Westchester to Charlotte, NC last April so I really miss he and Lizzie but at least it’s not too far from us. I hope your son is enjoying his first year of college, which is quickly coming to a close. I’m sure you’ll be happy to have him home for the summer. Be well, my friend. I think of you often. ~BIG HUGS~Maggie #kindnessmatters
