Hello everyone and welcome to Altenew’s Watercolor 36 Pan Set Release Blog Hop!! Today we are showcasing Altenew’s Watercolor 36 Pan Set! If you arrived here from the talented Nicole Picadura blog, then you are on the right track. If you arrived here on your own, then you will want to start at the beginning, the Altenew Card Blog so that you don’t miss a thing!
This beautiful set of 36 vibrant watercolor half-pans coordinates perfectly with our line of ink. They are intensely pigmented, fade minimally when drying, and some colors have lovely granulating effects. They are stored in a convenient plastic case, designed with space for your brush (included) and a palette in the lid for mixing. Some of the case lids snap off upon opening and can easily snap back on after you are finished creating so you can store your mixed paints with the rest of the pan colors.
The set contains
-
36 Artist Grade Watercolor Half-Pans
-
Plastic Case
-
Water Brush
Take a look at my Watercolor Traveler’s Notebook:
I recently took a vacation with my daughter to Cuba and it was amazing. The country is a must see. Although the infrastructure is on the decline, you can still see the beauty in the country. We had a blast and learned a lot.
I used the watercolor pan to add color to my pages that would match the colors in the photos.
I love how the watercolors mix and move across the paper. The interesting thing is, I used linen paper and it did well with the watercolors. I was surprised. The colors are vibrant and smooth.
Let’s take a look inside:
The left photo is in Plaza de la Revolucion. The faces on the building are of Che Guevara and Camilo Cienfuegos, who are two important deceased heroes of the Cuban Revolution.
The right photo is of the port of Havana. So pretty!
Taxi anyone!! LOL, I thought this taxi was the cutest thing ever. Three people in the back and the driver in the front. All aboard.
The photo on the left are locals waiting on the bus to come.
the photo on the right is my daughter walking in town.
The photo on the left is a photo of a couple of houses downtown.
The photo on the right is a photo of a women and her children walking down the street.
Both photos were taken from the sky- Hello Havana!
I used different color watercolors on all of these pages. Perfect way to showcase all of the photos.
What is a blog hop without an amazing gift? Yayyy!!

I know it’s supposed to be about the watercolors, but I love your journal! I always struggle with how to capture the moments that are important or even a pretty view – I love the simplicity of the photo on top of the watercolor background with a small caption and it makes me feel like I can do it, too! Thank you for sharing! Can you tell me what notebook that is?
Thank you Byulgzr! I made that notebook myself using kraft card stock, and white linen card stock.
