Clean & Simple 3 Card Class – Day 3 Optical Illusion

Yesterday we learned a new technique called optical illusion.  Laura Bassen taught us how to do stamp layering which gives off an optical illusion.  We were taught to start with a subtle background stamp, then bold hues and finish the card with a crisp greeting which will make the whole thing pop.

So, I tried to create a card very similar to that taught in class.  I’m not sure if my card gives the same feel.  I would love it to pop a little bit more.  What do you think?

Take a look at my card:

Tell me what you think?  I’m going to try this technique again with a different background stamp and bolder colors.

  1. I think it definitely has optical illusion. I am unable to compare because I have not seen the card that you learned from. I am sure that this card is just as good.
