Yesterday we learned a new technique called optical illusion. Laura Bassen taught us how to do stamp layering which gives off an optical illusion. We were taught to start with a subtle background stamp, then bold hues and finish the card with a crisp greeting which will make the whole thing pop.
So, I tried to create a card very similar to that taught in class. I’m not sure if my card gives the same feel. I would love it to pop a little bit more. What do you think?
Take a look at my card:

Tell me what you think? I’m going to try this technique again with a different background stamp and bolder colors.
I think it definitely has optical illusion. I am unable to compare because I have not seen the card that you learned from. I am sure that this card is just as good.
I think it is great!! Very bright and it catches your eye. Good job on the technique shown in class.
Thank you so much Laura. I’m going to try this technique again.
This is a must have.. Can we make these for our make n take. It pops beautifully girl.. Will add to my faves
This looks great! Was wondering how it’d look on a chevron background- i think its a winner 🙂
Thank you so much Preeya!
