Hello everyone!! I’m here today with my first card created for DoubleClick as a Skittles Design Team Member!!!!
I’m so excited about this opportunity! So with no further a due, lets have fun with our first challenge.
The Challenge Theme is Ice-Cream. Who doesn’t want ice cream in the summer time, as a matter of fact, anytime! Very Berry Strawberry is my all time favorite ice cream. Topped with a Cherry is always delicious!!
Check out my card that I created for this challenge:
Don’t you just love the ice cream cones! Check out my cranberry cherries on top!!! Aren’t they delicious.
Take a closer look:
To create this card:
1. I used Simon Says Stamp Ice Cream Cones Craft Die and cut out four cones and four different flavor ice cream.
2. I adhered all of the cones and the ice creams with foam adhesive.
3. I added retired Stampin’ Up! Pool Party twine and tied a bow.
4. I stamped my sentiment using Papertrey Ink’s Wet Paint Stamp Set with Versafine Onyx Black Ink.
5. I rounded the corners of my front panel and my card base using my We R Memory Corner Chomper.
6. I added Wink of Stella Clear to my ice cream.
7. Then I added my Cranberry Skittles to of my ice cream and card!!!

Omg these are soooooooo flippin adorable!!! I *must* buy the “Wink of Stella” pen – never heard of it until seeing this post! These are so so so cute – I’m totally buying the ice cream die as well! 🙂
Hey Janet!! Thank you so much for your kind words. Yes, the Wink of Stella pen is a must have. Its so easy to use and you can use it on everything. I love it to death. Yes, those ice cream dies are so cute. Each piece cuts out, so you can stack that ice cream as high as you want. Have fun and please share what you create.

Yes, when I received an email from Stephanie I was through the roof!! I was so excited about that. Such an honor for me! Thank you so much for your support! I can always count of you!
I have this same die, but am having trouble getting the waffle cone texture to emboss onto my cardstock. Is there some trick you can share? Thanks! PS…Your card is super cute!!!
Hey Christi!! Thank you so much for your kind comment. You might want to add a folded piece of printer paper to your sandwich. This would add more pressure to your die. Your die cutting machine might have a loose tension. Let me know if this works.
