So Suzy Stamps Design Team Anniversary Blog Hop

Anniversay - friendship

Today marks the 1 year anniversary of the So Suzy Stamps Design Team. As a special thank you to everyone who has been on the team, followed our blog and made new friends, we are doing a Friendship Blog Hop with some of our past and present Design Team members.

If you arrived here from my talented friend Jenny, then you are on the right path.  If you arrived here otherwise, you don’t want to miss out on the hop stop which starts at the fabulous Suzy’s blog.

Now on to my card:

Thank you (SSS)

I wanted to say thank you to Suzy for staking me on Instagram, that is how we met if you didn’t know.  Once we started talking, there was no stopping.  I don’t think she knew I was in my car, parked and ready to catch my train but waited so we could finish our conversation. I can’t believe its been a year!!

I also wanted to say thank you to all of my teammates!!  All of you have been super doper awesome to work with.  I love this team, stress-free and fun as hell!!

Do you want to see where the inspiration came from for this card?

Take a look:

I just love these gift cards from Starbucks.  They are such a great source of inspiration for me. It screamed So Suzy card!!  LOL!!

Here is how I created this card:

  1. I used Create a Smile snowflake stencil and I used Versamark ink and stamped on top of the stencil.
  2. Then I sprinkled Hero Arts White Embossing powder on top and heat set the  snowflakes.
  3. I allowed the paper to cool down, then I stamped the Thank you So Suzy Stamp with Versamark ink and sprinkled Hero Arts Liquid Platinum Embossing and heat set it.

Super simple and easy to replicate.

So what do you think?  Please let me know!

Now what is a blog hop without a prize!!

Join in on the hop, leave a comment at each stop and you’ll be entered in to win a $15 gift certificate to So Suzy Stamps! How awesome is that.  This contest ends, Friday, December 4th, 2015 at 11:45 MST!!

  3. Beautiful card Kymona! ^__^ I love that Thank you stamp too and use it often! I collect bits and pieces of designs from newspapers which catch my fancy and sometimes a mix and match of the colors on designs or a singular pattern on the design or both serve as an inspiration to my project! Thank you for sharing your inspiration! *Big Hugs* ❤
