Winter? No way, I’m not ready for it. December 21 seems so far away, but in reality, it’s two months away. Time has been running so fast, that before we know it, Winter will be here.

I know you asking what’s so special about these planner pages? Oh, let’s take a closer look!

They are embossed!! I added white snowflakes to both pages for the added effect and texture.

The white on white is hard to see, but if you look close, you can see the many snowflakes. Just so you know, I’m begging Mother Nature for no snow this year. I hope my wish comes true.

Technique Tuesday December 2018 Release Day

Hello everyone!! Happy November!! It’s Technique Tuesday December 2018 Release Day!!

Can you believe December is here already? I can’t, just yesterday we were saying Happy New Year, LOL! Well, here we are, let’s make the most of this month!

Yayyyyy!!! The day has finally arrived! It’s release day for Technique Tuesday. They are releasing 3 clear stamps and 3 crafting die!

365 Days Stamp Set

Let’s look at what I created:

My favorite stamp set from this months release is this stamp set called 365 Days! This stamp set can be used all year round. On cards, in your planner and scrapbook pages!

Creating this card was easy.

Here’s how:

Cut the desert storm cardstock to 5.50 by 4.25, scored at 4.25.
Randomly stamp the sentiment on the card front using Versamark Ink.
Sprinkle clear embossing powder over the stamped sentiments and heat set it.
Stamp the sentiment again on lime green cardstock using Versafine Ink.
Use a scallop punch to punch the sentiment out.
Adhere the scallop punch cardstock to the front of the card front using foam dots.

Sweater weather is in full swing!! Not my favorite but I’ve learned to deal with it. Technique Tuesday created a super cute stamp set that agrees with how I feel, LOL!!! It’s called Hello Winter Stamp Set! I paired it with the new Sweater Weather Crafting Die.

The Ton’s Fall 2018 Release Blog Hop

Welcome to The Ton’s Fall 2018 Release blog hop! For this release, The Ton has debuted 11 new stamps and a new pop up floral die. There are free gifts with purchase promotions also! Take a look at my card:

For this card I used the new Cardinal Friends Stamp set. Super cute birds and warm sentiments.

Here’s how I created this card:

Cut a piece of cardstock to 7 by 8.5 and score at 3.5.

Stamp the branch, bird and sentiment using Permanent Crisp Black Ink.

Use Copic Markers R37, R39, Y17 and E37 to color in the images.

Round the two right corners using the 3 Way Corner Punch.

Super clean and simple!

Take a look at my Christmas tags:

I used the new Holiday Chic Tags Stamp Set! This set is amazing. I love the sentiments. Their fonts are the right size.

Here’s how I create these tags:

Die cut three tags.

Use the pattern stamps included in the Holiday Chic Tags stamp set and stamp onto the tags using Ruby Red Ink.

Let that dry. Use an embossing buddy to dusty powder on top to make sure the ink is dry.

Stamp the sentiments with embossing ink.

Sprinkle silver embossing power on top of the wet ink and heat set it.

String a piece of ribbon through the hole on the top and your done.

Technique Tuesday July 2018 Release Countdown Day 1

Hello everyone!!! Today I’m showcasing one stamp set from Technique Tuesday July 2018 Release!! Yes, the summer has finally arrived here in NYC. I’m so excited about that. I love the warmer weather and this new release.

Let’s take a look:

Here’s how this card was created:

Cut a piece of watercolor paper and tape it down to a study surface.
Wet the paper with a lot of water.
Decide on the colors you want to use from Prima Watercolor Confections Essence and add them to the wet watercolor paper loosely.
Heat set the watercolor.
Stamp the dragonflies from the new Beautiful Dragonflies stamp set in black ink. Do not stamp so hard. You want a faded look for parts of the dragonflies.
Stamp the sentiment using Embossing Ink.
Sprinkle Antique Gold Embossing Powder over the stamped sentiment.
Heat set that embossing powder.
Adhere the watercolor panel to the card base.
Use We R Memory Keepers 3-Way Corner Punch to round the corners.

Simple yet elegant!

The Ton 3rd Anniversary Release Blog Hop

Hello everyone!!! The Ton 3rd Anniversary Release Blog Hop is underway and it’s amazing. I made it back from Creativation just in time to participate in the hop so I’m excited.

If you arrived here from The Ton blog then you are on the right track. If you arrived here on your own, you will want to start at the beginning, The Ton blog, as to not miss any of the amazing projects!

Lets jump in:

Card One:

The inspiration for this card came from an artist I met at Creativation on Monday. His use of colors and water was amazing on a large background stamp.

So, for my first card I used the City Buildings Cling Background stamp to create a subtle multicolor background topped with a sentiment from the Seriously Amazing stamp set.

For the sentiment to pop off of the card, black embossing powder was added on top and heat set. Add a couple of gumdrops to finish the card off.

Card two:

For my second card, I used the XOXO Mini stamp set to create a clean and simple Valentine’s Day card.

Use 4 different distress ink colors to create the pink ombre look. Once thats done, stamp both sentiments using the MISTI and black ink. Make sure the sentiment is dry, then stamp the sentiment again using Versamark ink. Add black embossing powder and heat set the sentiment.

Add a couple of gumdrops to finish the card off.

How to Create a Sprinkle Turnabout Gift Bag

Hello everyone!! I’m here again showcasing the Sprinkles Turnabout Stamp set and the Sprinkles Tag Set from Concord & 9th as apart of their 2nd Birthday Celebration!!

Lets take a look:

Yes, I created a gift bag using the Sprinkles Turnabout stamp set and the Sprinkles Tag Set!

I love how this cute little bag turned out.

Here’s how I created it:

The tag:

Using the Sprinkles Turnabout stamp create the sprinkle pattern on a piece of white cardstock, with 4 different ink colors. Note: Follow the direction on the back of the package to line up the stamp perfectly to get the even pattern.
Stamp the sentiment in the center of the pattern with black ink.
Ink up the stamp again this time using Versamark ink and sprinkle black embossing power over the sentiment.
Heat set the powder for a raised intense sentiment.
Use the Sprinkles Tag die to cut out the tag.
Use We R Memory Keepers Power Punch to punch a hole at the top of the tag.

The bag:

Create the bag with We R Memory Keepers Box Punch Board.
Before folding the bag, use the small sprinkle stamp and Versamark Ink to create sprinkles all over the bag.
Sprinkle clear embossing powder on top and heat set. This gives the image a translucent look.
Use ribbon to close the bag and attach the tag. Once the bow is tied, run a piece of string under the bow and attach a couple charms.

Pretty amazing to see how a stamp set can transform a piece of cardstock.
