Hello everyone!! It’s CASology Tuesday!! We are back with another Cue Card just for you!!
This week’s cue card is :
Take a look at my card:
Are you wondering what my card has to do with our cue card? Everything!! Trees are out in the “OPEN”!! They bear the weather, animals climbing on them, power lines running through them and people curving on them; and yet they still stand strong and tall!!
I love this Tree Hugs stamp set from Concord and 9th. The trees look so life like.
Here is how I created this card:
- I used Recollection White cardstock and created a standard A2 size card, 4.25 x 5.50, scored at 4.25.
- Then I stamped the tree image three times using Versamark ink.
- After that, I lightly inked up the side of the trees with Distress Ink Old Paper with a blending tool and a mask.
- Then I stamped the sentiments from the same set using Stampin’ Up! Real Red Ink. I doubled stamp one of the hearts and BFF because carving in trees are as clean cut as we would like.
I absolutely love how this card turned out. I can’t wait to make another one.
