Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card:

week-232-cut

Take a look at my card:

For this week’s cue card I used STAMPlorations Let It Snow Die as my focal point. I die cut it out of Concord and 9th Happy Hue Note Cards three times.  Then I adhered them together.

Before adhering the die cut to the card front, I  added some snowflakes with Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow die and Ranger Ink Texture Paste.

Once the paste dried, the sentiment was adhered.

What do you think?

CASology 145 – Shape

Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!!  We are back again with another Cue Card for you!! This past week has been such a hard week for me.  My dad had a stroke right after last weeks post went live and I haven’t slept since.

This week’s cue card had me stumped for a minute, check it out:

Week 145 - Shape

Shape??  Super easy, right? Circle, triangles, squares, diamonds, stars and many more came to mind when I thought of this word.  I realize when there are so many options, it makes it harder to choose.

I just happen to look on my desk and saw the new Circle Dots Stencil by Simon Says Stamp and knew I had to use that stencil on my card.  The pattern was how I was feeling dealing with my dad’s stroke.  My head was going in circles!!

Take a look at my card:

Thank You So Very Much

I decided that I wanted to add color to my textured paste.  So I decided to go with Distress Inks Mustard Seed, Peacock Feathers and Picked Raspberry.

All of those circles shapes are different in size.  I love them.

I stamped my sentiment using Simon Says Stamps Circle Saying Stamp Set and My Favorite Things Black Hybrid Ink.

I trimmed my card base down so that you could see the black card stock on both sides.

I added Clear Wink of Stella to each of the dots.

What do you think? Let me know.

Not A Christmas Stamp 2…

Hello everyone!! I’m here today with CS Take It Make It Design Team for our November Challenge!!

This month’s theme is Christmas Images using Non Christmas Stamps!! This was a really fun technique. I had to really shop my stash to see what stamps I have that I could use for this.

This is my second time attempting this technique and I really had a lot more fun with it this time around.

Take a look at my card:

Be Joyful

I used a stamp set this is so far from Christmas you wouldn’t believe.

Here is the stamp set that I used to create this card:

Lifes JourneyI use the stamp that says “Enjoy the Journey”.  That circle image would be perfect for an ornament.

To achieve this affect, I just inked the circle and not the sentiment.  I did that three times to create the three ornaments.

I used my Copic markers and colored them in. I love purple and green for Christmas colors.

So what do you think?  I think you should try this technique for a chance to win a great prize.

We are delighted to be sponsored this month by The Artistic Stamper.
