Let’s look at what I created:

I love making shaker cards and this stamp set is perfect for that. The deer from Dani Deer Stamp Set is so cute and looks amazing once colored.

Closer look:

I used Tombow Recycled Colored Pencils to color the deer. I used snow flakes for the shaker. The frame was cut using Mama Elephant Union Square die set.

{Clean and Simple} CASology – Cut

Hello everyone!! It’s CASology Tuesday!! We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

Take a look at my card:

For this week’s cue card I used STAMPlorations Let It Snow Die as my focal point. I die cut it out of Concord and 9th Happy Hue Note Cards three times. Then I adhered them together.

Before adhering the die cut to the card front, I added some snowflakes with Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow die and Ranger Ink Texture Paste.

Once the paste dried, the sentiment was adhered.

Your Next Stamp DT Dare – Winter Fun

Hello – Muse Challenge

Hello everyone!! I’m here today playing with the Muse Challenge!! I can’t tell you the last time I had a moment to play along with them. This was one of my favorite challenges to play in before I became super busy with DT work, LOL!!!

Hello (Muse)

I decided to create this card because I looked out of my window about an hour ago and realized that it was snowing. This is our first snow fall for the winter season. I’m not happy about it. I’m not a fan of the snow. So I thought this scene went perfect with my how my outdoors looked like.

This card was easy to create. I just die cut Your Next Stamp Houses on the Hill Die and adhered it to a piece of Recollection Black Cardstock for contrast as did Anita. Then I used Tsukineko Radient Neon Amplify! to add my snow. My sentiment is from Lawn Fawn. It was a single hello stamp that I received as a thank you for ordering.

Super easy and fun. I made this card in 5 minutes.

Sparkle and Shine Challenge

Hello everyone!! I’m here today with the Sparkle and Shine Challenge!!!

I really love this challenge this month. It allowed me to come out of my comfort zone and create a card with a scene. I absolutely love it.

Here is the inspiration photo that guided us this time around:

By Your side

OMG!! Tell me this isn’t amazing!! I love this card so much. Those birds are amazing and after seeing the many ways they can be used. I had to use them for this challenge.

Here is how I created this card:

I cute my black card base to a standard size A2 card, 4.25 x 5.50 scored at 4.25.
I used Concord & 9th By Your Side Bird Die to cut the birds out of the black card base.
Then I cut Simon Say Stamp Fog cardstock down to 4 x 5.25, so that it could fit behind the birds to give them a better contrast.
Before inserting the fog cardstock behind the birds, I added some dimension to the card panel using (closed store) Top Dog Die Bats die to create some extra black tree branches.
I added those trees to the top of the card pane using Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Then I stamped my sentiment from Concord & 9th By Your Side Stamp Set using Versafine Black Ink.
After the ink dried, I slide the fog card stock into place behind the birds. I adhered it down with Tombow Extreme adhesive.
To add the red birds, I die cut them again using Stampin’ Up! Real Red cardstock and them cut them of the branch.
I adhered them to the black birds already there using Tombow Extreme adhesive.
Then I used a black thin marker to add a black line near the birds beak.
I used Tsukineko Radiant Neon Amplify! to add some snow to the scene. Super cool to watch the snow pop up.
For my sparkle and shine, I added Distress Glitter Clear Rock Candy to the birds wing tips and the top tree branches.

CS Take It Make It: Take a Technique

Hello everyone!! I’m here with CS Take It Make It: Take a Technique Challenge Inspiration for December.

Our theme is Take a Technique: Sharing the Season!!

For this month’s challenge the technique we would like to see Seasonal creations: Winter/icy themed, or even Christmas projects if you’re not bored of these already! For those readers who live in different climates: Why not share your December seasons with us!

This should be super fun to see what the whether looks like in different parts of the world.

Happy Holiday (TIMI)

Here in the USA, we are in the middle of fall and winter. No, snow in my are yet, but they have some 4 hours away from me. I hope we don’t get any. I don’t care for the snow to much. It makes it hard to drive. Don’t get me wrong, its pretty but its troublesome.

I created this card using Purple Onion Designs Stacey Yacula Studio – Birch (Winter Bunny)! Such a cute image and fun to color. I used my Faber-Castel Polychromos Coloring Pencils.

I inked the background, added some embossing past for snow and a stitched hill.

I love how this card turned out!! Super pretty!

Your Next Stamp November 2015 Sneak Peek

Hello everyone!! I’m back again for this month’s Your Next Stamp Sneak Peek!

I have a confession to make, I made my card, turned it in to the team and totally forgot to do my blog post! I’m writing this on my train ride to work, so some elements will not be present. I promise to add my step by step directions and links to my supplies later today!! Please forgive me.

Can you tell that I have a love for that falling snow? I love how it makes my Christmas cards look so very real!! The texture and dimension amazes me each and every time!

I shared my process on Instagram yesterday and everyone was in awe.

First I shared my coloring process:

I was having a hard time deciding what colors to use on my moose so I turned to my Facebook Copic Group for some suggestions. I recieved some great combos.

Once my coloring was done, I needed to finish the rest of my card. I recieved plenty of questions regarding the snow on my cards, so here’s how I add it:

It’s quite easy, all I did was place my stencil on top of my card panel with tape. Then I used a palette knife and scooped up some of that embossing paste. I spread the paste over the stencil where I wanted the snow to appear.

Moving quickly because that embossing will ruin the stencil if it dries on it. You must wash that paste off your stencil immediately after using it!

Once the paste dried, I popped my cut out moose in the center.

The finally step was to pop up my die cut image to the front of the card base using foam tape.

Super fun, I tell you. This is one of my favorite stamp set for this release!!

One Stamp Set, Two Ways!!

Hello everyone!! I’m here today Guest Designing for Gerda Steiner Designs. Super Doper Awesome!!!

Have you seen her latest stamps? Totally awesome! She has clear stamps, digital stamps and good old rubber stamps!! You can’t bet that!

If you haven’t checked her out, you have to go on over and pay her visit!!

Today, I’m playing with a clear stamp called Peeking Friends! Super cute images and easy to color!

I’ve created two projects. I have a third one, but as I’m writing this post, I’m having a creative block. Crazy right. I just can’t figure out what I want to do with what I have. As soon as I do, I will do a separate post on it.

Take a look at what I did create:

First up is a gift tag that doubles as a card since it opens.

This is how I created this tag:

I stamped the image using My Favorite Things Hybrid Ink and colored the elf in with Copic Markers; G07, R37, Y13, E11 and E25.
Then I used my Brother Scan and Cut to cut him out.
Then I used Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Banner Duo 2 Dies to cut out 3 tags, 2 out of white cardstock and 1 out of retired Stampin’ Up! Season of Style.
I used the circle die to cut out a circle in the pattern paper.
I adhered the pattern paper to one of the white tags.
I used my score board to score the back tag so that I could Tombow Multipurpose Glue to hold the tag together.
I stamped my sentiment in the circle.
I created a shaker pocket using the We R Memory Keepers Fuse Tool, click here if you want to see a tutorial.
I added random sequin to my shaker pocket and sealed it up.
I attached the pocket to the back of the pattern paper using Tombow Extreme tape.
Then I added 3M Foam tape to the back of the pattern paper, to add dimension.
I put all of the pieces together. Then I added my colored elf to the front of the window.
I punched a hole at the top of the tag using the We R Memory Keepers Crop-A-Dile.
I added some ribbon to the tag.

Awesome outcome!!

Second up is a card:

Check out my santa!! I love how he looks like he is peeking into your window!! Hope you’ve been nice this year.

Check out this picture I also took of this card using some props!! I wanted to give it a try.

I picked up this porcelain palette plate and was excited to use it!! I love how the card looks surrounded by different embellishments.

Here’s how I created this card:

I cut my front card panel to 4.25 x 5.50 and used My Favorite Things Jumbo Peek-a-Boo Circle Windows Die.
I used Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow Stencil and Wendy Veechi Embossing Paste to add snow to the front of the card panel.
I attached the front panel to the card base using Tombow Extreme adhesive.
I stamped my the santa and used Copic Markers: R37, R39, R89, E00, E11, C1 and colored him in.
I slipped the santa between the front panel and the card base to give the impression that he is peeking into your window.
I stamped the sentiment and WaLa, I was done!1

Super sweet and pleasant card!!

Top Dog Dies – Texture

Hello everyone!!! I’m here with Top Dog Dies!! I’m here showcasing one of their new dies that was released 3 weeks ago!!

Lets jump right in!

Today I’m working with the Top Dog Dies Snowman Die Set!! It’s a super doper cute die set and the possibility are endless!!

Take a look at my that I created with this die:

I love this cute snowman die!! Look at all of that stitching! Nice texture.

Here is how I created this card:

I die cut my snowman out of different colors of paper. I put the snowman together.
Then I draw a hill line on my cardstock.
I stamped The Ton Stamps Holiday Lyrics using My Favorite Things Hybrid Ink.
After that, I place Simon Says Stamps Stencil Falling Snow on top of the cardstock and layered Wendy Vecchi Embossing Paste.
Before the paste dried, I sprinkled some Distress Glitter Clear Rock Candy on top of the snow to give it some sparkle and shine.

Super fun to create!!

Sweet Stamp Shop November Release

Hello everyone!! I’m here to day to share with you the Brand New Sweet Stamp Shop Stamp Sets!! They are to die for!

Take a look at the stamp set I used to create my card:

Aren’t theses little panda’s just the cutest you’ve ever seen!! The little heart and the sentiments make me smile.

When I saw this set, I knew I wanted the two panda’s to touch each other by rubbing noses. Then it was only fitting to use the heart image with the “sweet”sentiment.

After I put that together, I wanted to add some texture to the card and thought that since the holidays are coming up why not snow. I saw Julia Altermann from Just One More Card create a card and she added snow with Distress Glitter Clear Rock Glitter and I loved it. I ordered that Distress Glitter Clear Rock Glitter right away!

Isn’t the scenery just the cutest thing for these panda’s although, I don’t think Panda’s see snow.

Correction panda’s do need lots of water to survive. “The temperate forest of central China were giant pandas live receive about 30 to 40 inches of rain and snow a year”. That info came from the Smithsonian National Zoological Part Website.

I learned something every day. I really never thought about the types of weather the panda’s have to face. Now, I can’t stop looking them up.

Sorry, I digress! Now on to the other stamp sets that are being released today!!
