Hello everyone! I’m here today with Paper Smooches Guest Designer Search for October!! I figured why not throw myself in the mix!!
I’m also entering the Paper Smooches Sparks: Anything Goes.
Sometime this week I received Paper Smooches Spiffy Scooters Stamp set and decided that I would use that stamp set to create a new card. I was waiting for my new Copic markers to come in the mail so that I can practice my coloring.
Guess what!! My Copic Markers arrived this morning!! Yayyy!! I’m so excited. Practicing here I come. Now I have 108 markers.
So without further a due here is my card:
I had a lot of fun coloring this little cute scooter. It challenge me a bit. I wanted to make sure I was able to do some blending.
The Copic colors I used were:
YR04, YR07 – the flame
B00, B02 – the scooter body
100 – the hub caps, seat, bottom of the muffler
Y21 – the wheel covers, head light
C3, C5 – the headlight cover, the handlebar, top light cover, tailpipe, back-light cover
R35 – backlight
T0, T2 – wheels, shadow

Adorable Cards!! I love that scooter. Your coloring is really nice. I practiced coloring yesterday too but haven’t gotten around to posting my cards. Where do you get your markers?

They were a bit pricey, I saved up to get them. There is a B set too that I want but I have to save up again. I hope that helps.
Kymona – YOU are on a roll – you are doing such fantastic, incredible things right now and just blowing my mind with your awesomeness!! If this is practice, then I am amazed because I love the perfect coloring on this fun scooter – it turned out so good!! I am so impressed with the layers and the use of those adorable enamel hearts!! So good – I am going to have to play around with some Paper Smooches stuff and join this challenge or search too!! You are just rocking things right now!! So happy and excited for you!! Hey Taunya! Thank you so much for your constant encouragement. You are awesome. Thank you, thank you for your sweet words. Yes, this is practice for me. I hardly use my markers. I decided that I need to really jump in because I spent so much money on markers and the traveling far for the certification that I have to get a return on my investment. So that means I need to really start using them. I’m taking that upcoming Copic coloring for card makers. You should join that class. It will be fun. I can’t wait. Have a great night.
