Hello Friend (a2z)

Here is how I create this card:

1. I used Stampin’ Up! retired Polka Dot embossing folder to embossed my card base.

2. I used My Favorite Thing Die-namics Stitched Rounded Rectangle STAX Die to cut a panel for my focal point.

3. I stamped my images from Hero Arts Butterfly and Flower Stamp and Cut using My Favorite Things Hybrid Black Ink because I was going to color my images with Copic Markers G07, Y32. Y35, Y38, R35, E25, Y06

4. I die cut the flower using the die from the set and adhered it to the steam of the flower with foam tape.

5. To finish off my card I rounded the corners of my card base using the We R Memory Corner Chomper Tool.

Nice Clean and Simple!!  Now its your turn!!

Waffle Flower Crafts Challenge – Photo Inspiration

Hello everyone!!  I’m here today with Waffle Flower Crafts Photo Inspiration Challenge!!  This is our fourth challenge and I’m getting better at this as the time past.

10978630_10205991015394847_5844698846496490195_nThese photo are really an inspiration to me.  I would never think to put these colors together so I’m totally grateful for them.  I get to venture out into new “color” territory.  No more red, blue, and yellow, LOL!!

Take a look at my card:

Hello Hola

The colors for this challenge are amazing.  They remind me of spring.  So I decided to create a spring card.  I can’t wait for the snow to disappear.

To create this card:

I started with a textured creamy caramel cardstock, (sorry I can’t remember the name), cut to an A2 size card.

I stamped stem, flower and leaves from Waffle Flower Rock My World Stamp Set,  with Versamark; add white embossing powder and heat set the images.

I used my Stampin’ Up! Mellon Mambo and Bermuda Bay Blendabilities and a YG13 Copic marker to color my flowers. Practicing my color skills for Kathy’s 30 day coloring challenge.

I stamped “Hello ” from Waffle Flower Rock My World Stamp set and “Hola” from Waffle Flower DT Mix Stamp Set.

I added Stampin Up! rhinestones the center of each flower.

Done!!  So what do you think?  Please let me know.  Now its your turn!  I can’t wait to see what you come up with!!

I’m also linking this card up to Virginia’s View Challenge:  All Things Embossed

SPARKS BADGE

Sometime this week I received Paper Smooches Spiffy Scooters Stamp set and decided that I would use that stamp set to create a new card.   I was waiting for my new Copic markers to come in the mail so that I can practice my coloring.

Guess what!!  My Copic Markers arrived this morning!!  Yayyy!! I’m so excited.  Practicing here I come. Now I have 108 markers.

So without further a due here is my card:

Roll With It

I had a lot of fun coloring this little cute scooter.  It challenge me a bit.  I wanted to make sure I was able to do some blending.

The Copic colors I used were:

YR04, YR07 – the flame

B00, B02 – the scooter body

100 – the hub caps, seat, bottom of the muffler

Y21 – the wheel covers, head light

C3, C5 – the headlight cover, the handlebar, top light cover, tailpipe, back-light cover

R35 – backlight

T0, T2 – wheels, shadow

So what do you think of my coloring?  Please let me know.

Now here is another card that I want to submit for this search:

Just a Note (grapes)

I created this card a couple of days ago.  If you want to know how I created this card you can check out that blog post here.

I didn’t use Copic’s to color these grapes I used Stampin’ Up! Rich Razzleberry Blendabilities.
