Hello everyone!! It’s CASology Tuesday!! We are back with another Cue Card just for you!!
This week’s cue card is :
Take a look at my card:
OMG!! I love those birds!! Now your probably wondering what does this card have to do with the cue card!
I had a hard time trying to figure out what I was going to do since I didn’t have any stamps that represent toys. So, I thought and thought about what I could do. What can I do, then a light bulb went off. I receive happymail almost everyday and I am so giddy, like a kid in a candy store.
My new stamps and dies are my “TOYS“!!!
Here is a picture of my newest happymail package:
It was from Concord & 9th, who happens to be our sponsor this week. Their new release is totally amazing. I couldn’t wait to play with my new toys.
Take a look at the inside of my card:
Oh what joy my stamps, dies, sequin, ink pads, and all of my crafting tools brings me. These are my big girl toys!!
To create my card using Concord & 9th By Your Side Bundle:
- I used Stampin’ Up! Woodgrain embossing folder to emboss the front of my card.
- Then I die cut the birds out of Tim Holtz Watercolor paper.
- I used my Koi Watercolor to color my birds and tree limb.
- I used Tombow Multipurpose Glue to adhere the birds to the card front.
- I stamped my sentiment on the inside of the card.
Super easy and fun!!
So what do you think? Do you agree that our crafty supplies are our toys. Let me know.
Now its your turn!! I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Stunning Card! LOVE your twist on the cue card ;-)…..That certainly is Happy Mail!
Brilliant take on the cue word, Kymona – you are so right about crafty goodies being our toys! Love how you watercoloured those adorable little birdies!
I adore your card Kymona!! Your watercolour birds stole my heart!!! And of course the woodgrain background is just perfect for those precious birds!!
So adorable! Those watercolored birdies look amazing 🙂
What a great idea, Kymona! I love your water colored birds and that you used the textured side of your w/c papers, and your woodgrain background is gorgeous!!! Time for me to look into this company 🙂
I agree, my new stamps are my toys too, and I’m always so excited to start ‘playing’. These birds are so sweet on their woodgrain embossed background, what a wonderful card Kymona! ps great choice of word, ‘foward’ is so positive especially this time of year when the ‘pressure is on’
Yep, my “toys” this Christmas will all be stamping supplies! Great take on the cue…and I LOVE these Concord & 9th birds. You did a beautiful job coloring them!
