Hello everyone!! I”m here today too because it’s someone’s birthday day and I would love to say Happy Birthday to you.

I have not made cards in a long time and was delighted to sit and make a couple of them for you today using Technique Tuesday’s Happy Birthday Stamp Sets.

If you remember, my card-making style has always been clean and simple.

These cards are a great representation of that style.

Sentiment stamps are my favorite because you can create any kind of card you want- from simple to elaborate just by using a couple of sentiments.

The stamp set I used to create these cards is the Large Birthday Stamp Set!

It has 8 sentiment stamps to choose from. Some are mixed fonts, and you can color in some of them. Creating different looks is easy with this set.

Clean and Simple Cards using Heffy Doodle Stamps

Hello everyone!! Kymona here with some clean and simple cards using Heffy Doodle Stamps!

For those of you who do not know or haven’t heard of Heffy Doodle let me give you some history!

Heffy Doodle produces high quality, versatile stamps and dies for the crafting world. Lesley Oman, aka Hungry Heffy is the companies creative and energetic founder. Lesley’s husband Craig tried to convince Lesley to turn her doodles into stamps, but she was way to busy making cards to listen. It was July 2017, when Lesley realized her husband had a great idea and hence Heffy Doodle was born!!!

Let’s take a look at my clean and simple cards:

For the first card, I used the Numicon Stencil to create a very colorful background for a unique birthday card.

Stamping the sentiment from the Big Bold Words Stamp Set with Versamark Ink and then embossing it with Silver Embossing Powder packs a powerful punch.

For the second card, I simple die cut both the Hey and Honey die out of glitter paper and adhered it to the card front.

Super simple and easy.

Both cards turned out beautiful! They didn’t require much work either. They can be reproduce over and over in no time.

The Ton’s Spring 2018 Release Blog Hop

Since its my BIRTHDAY today, I created a clean and simple birthday card for myself!! LOL!!

I used The Ton Beautiful Bettas stamp set to create this card, which was complete in 3-4 steps.

Here’s how to create this card:

Cut the cardstock to 4 x 8, scored at 4.

Stamp the images using Altenew Ruby Red and Coral Berry ink. Mix the colors to give the bettas a dual color look.

Use a MISTI to stamp the sentiment in Altenew Permanent Black ink.

Round the top left and bottom right corner.

Done!!

Happy Birthday Karen Blog Hop

She is turning 40 which is an awesome ago!! It means she is old enough to know what people think doesn’t matter and young enough to still be cool with to her kids!! At least that is how I felt when I turned 40 back in April!!

YNS Birthday Project Showcase

Hello everyone!! How are you enjoying Your Next Stamp month long Birthday Celebration? I hope your having a blast!

This week the design team is is doing something special. We are showcasing all different types of birthday projects!! To see my fellow design team members work, head on over to the YNS Blog.

My daughter’s birthday is coming up so fast. She will be 10 in a couple of weeks so we are getting ready for her big birthday. So I decided to make a couple of favors for her friends.

Other Supplies: Tombow Extreme Adhesive, Mini Misti, Hole Puncher, Brads, Fiskars Paper Crimper

Do you remember those sour cream packets? Yes, I’m bringing them back again, LOL. She is to young to know what these were used for in the past, so this will be fun when her friends get there hands on these.

Tell me these are the cutest favors you’ve seen today!!

Here’s how I created these:

I used the full sheet of pattern paper, which is 4.25 x 5.50.
Add the strong adhesive to the backside of the paper, only on three sides.
Then I took my time and roll the paper to met the long strip of adhesive on the other side.
After that, pinch one end together.
Fill the pouch with goodies.
Now close the open end opposite of how you closed the bottom end. If you close them the same way, you will create a pouch that looks like the dark pink one, flat.

That’s it. Nice, easy and perfect to repeat over and over.

Concord & 9th Birthday Bash Blog Hop

C9 Birthday Bash RECTANGLE

I’m so excited to be here today!! Concord & 9th is celebrating their First Birthday on August 9th and I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with them. Let me tell you why!!

I first ran into Concord & 9th on Instagram. I was browsing through different post and ran into this post:

I was instantly intrigued. I wanted to know more about this company so I headed straight to their page.

Then I saw this post:

I was sold!! I had to follow them. I love watercoloring and these cards were perfect. I noticed that they were new a company and only had a couple of post so I knew this would be fun to see what they had in store for me as a follower.

Then on September 9th, one month after they opened, I received an email from Angie and was blown away!! She complimented me on my work and asked if I would like to do a guest social media post with them. What??

ABSOLUTELY!! I was so excited for a couple of reasons:

Here it was a new company who liked my work, and
They asked me to represent their brand new company.

That was big to me!! They put their faith and trust in me to represent them. I am grateful!!

Angie and I spoke back and forth for quite sometime. I learn some much about Concord & 9th and Angie and Greg!! Super cool company and amazing people behind it!!

So now we are here a year later and they’ve grown in such an amazing way!! I feel honored to call them my friends!!

So here’s my way of saying thank you for a year of great releases:

I decided to start with these cards for two reasons:

To say Thank You, and
To display my favorite stamp set of all time from Concord & 9th, the Sophisticated Script Uppercase and Sophisticated Script stamp set!!

This is my go to stamp set if I want to custom create a word sentiment that I don’t already have!! My daughter thought these cards were so cool to make. She wants to stamp out her name now. LOL!!

These cards were super easy to create using Happy Hues Cards/Envelope Pack that Concord and 9th sells.

The next card is a special one for me. Take a look:

Yayyyy, Happy Birthday Concord & 9th!!

When Angie reached out to me about guest posting the Eat Cake & Celebrate Bundle was one of the stamp sets and dies that she asked me to play with. So its only right to use this same stamp set especially since its Concord & 9th Birthday!!!

I’m not 100% sure but I believe that Angie and Greg has a love for watercolor so I created this card using distress inks for that reason.

I just couldn’t stop so I made one last card:

You've got this (C9)

I want to leave the Concord & 9th team with a little word of encouragement with some watercoloring!!

For this card I used the You’ve Got This Die and die cut a piece of watercolor paper.

YNS August 2016 Release Sneak Peek

Happy Birthday 16 (YNS)

YNS Supplies: Happy Birthday 2016 stamp set and die, YNS Swirly Fun Paper Pack, Circle Panel Die

Other Supplies: Recollection White Heavyweight Cardstock, Clearsnap Colorbox Archival Wicked Black Ink, Plus Adhesive

Happy Birthday to YNS!!

Creating this card was a breeze!! Here’s how:

Using an A2 card size, cut the YNS Swirly Fun Paper Pack to fit the front of that A2 card, 4.5 by 5.5.
Attach the pattern paper to the front of the card base using adhesive.
Then use the Circle Panel Die and cut out a panel out of the white cardstock.
Adhere that to the front of the patten paper.
Stamp the sentiment on the circle panel using black ink.
Die cut three balloon shapes out of scrap cardstock and adhere them to the front of the card, draw strings using a black pen.

Then your done. Nice and easy.
