Rennie roses stamp set

I used Altenew Rennie Roses stamp set to create these super cute planner pages.

I simply stamped the different flower elements and used Tombow Recycled Color Pencils to color the images in.

The pocket tag was created with a piece of printer paper folded at the four corners, then folded in half. The left corner is folded into the right corner, creating the pocket.

Let’s take a closer look:

If your looking for the Altenew Challenge Blog Hop, click here

Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card:

week-215-bark

Take a look at my card:

charming-friend-cas

When I first saw the cue card, I thought of a tree bark right away.  So I pulled out my very first stamp set from Darkroom Door, Fine Flowers.  I figured the stem of this sunflower works just fine.

Check out the definition:

The tough, protective outer sheath of the trunk, branches, and twigs of a tree or woody shrub.
I think my flower makes the cut!
To create it this card:
I stamped the flower from Darkroom Door and the sentiment from My Favorite Things using Clearsnap Colorbox Archival Dye Ink.
Then I colored the flower using Tombow Recycled Colored Pencils.

Are you inspired to play along?  Please let me know below!

Sept2016hopbadge

Hello everyone!!  Yayyy, I love this blog hop featuring new products from Your Next Stamps makes squeal!! LOL!!

This release is super cute!!  Yesterday’s sneak peek was fun.

If you’ve been hopping along, you would have arrived from Isha’s blog and if you’d like to start from the beginning, you can click on over to the linky at the bottom of this post and start at Laura’s blog.

My favorite set from this release is the SpookTacular Halloween Stamp Set! Its down below.

Are you ready for my big reveal?

Take a look at my cards:

Card one:

Spok-tacular Halloween

YNS Supplies: SpookTacular Halloween,  SpookTacular Halloween DiesWoodlands Paper Pack, Stitched Frame Dye Set

Other Supplies: Recollections Heavyweight White Cardstock, Colorbox Black Embossing Powder, Copic Markers, Recollections Heavyweight Black Cardstock,Colorbox Archival Wicked Dye Ink

I haven’t used my Copic Markers in such a long time that I had to pull them out for this card. This little guys are so cute and were begging to be colored.

All I did to create this card was cut a 4×4 base card out of the heavyweight black cardstock. Then I used the stitched frame die set to cut out a frame from the Woodlands paper pack.  After that I stamped the sentiment along the four boarders and embossed it with black embossing powder.  Then I adhered the frame to the card front.  Using some Copic Markers, I colored the two images and then die cut them out.  I adhered them to the card front inside the frame with dimensionals.

Super cute.

Card two:

Lunch box notes (YNS)

YNS Supplies: Kids Activity Planning, Stitched Frame Die, Swirly Pattern Paper

Other Supplies:Recollections Heavyweight White Cardstock, Colorbox Archival Wicked Dye Ink, Tombow Irojiten Tranquil and Vivid Coloring Pencil

For these cute little lunchbox notes, I cut the white heavyweight cardstock to a 3×3 size.  Then I die cut the Swirly patten paper out using the small stitched frame die and adhered it to the front of the card base.  Using the Mini Misti, I stamped different images and sentiments from the Kids Activity Planning set and colored them in using coloring pencils.

Easy does it!!  These notes are for my daughter.  I will put one in her lunchbox everyday.

So, what do you think?

I had so much fun creating these cards to inspire all of you and show you the versatility of the stamp sets! Which one of these items are favorite?  I would love to hear from you!

Hello everyone!!  I’m here today with CS Take It Make It Design Team for our CS Take It Make It: Take a Stamp Challenge for the month of September.

This month’s theme is Take a Stamp!!  That means take any stamp and create something, anything goes!! Now if that isn’t easy, I’m not sure what is!!

Take a look at my card:

Happy Thougts (TIMI)

This beautiful stamp set called Loving Mom from Kennedy Grace Creations whom I found on Instagram.  I love how life-like these flowers look, so I had to color them.

I stamped each of the flowers using Colorbox Archival Wick Dye Ink and colored each of the flowers with Tombow Recycle Color Pencils.

With these pencils, its so easy to blend colors.  They create such vibrant colors. Adding the white gel pen dots are a super fun addition that makes the flower petals stand out.

Super easy and relaxing to make!!

Sooooo, what do you think? Please let me know below.

Prizes:

We have two prizes to offer this month, the first is our sponsor prize. This winner will be chosen randomly from all of the entries in the challenge! The sponsor for September is: Visible Image.

{Clean and Simple} CASology 213 – Stitch

Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card:

Week 213 - Stitch

Take a look at my card:

Peeping out to say (CAS)

This past week has been a bit hectic for me.  I moved my son up to school for the very first time. I’m totally excited for him and his new step in life.  I don’t want to be “that” mom but I don’t think I will be able to stop myself from sending him all sorts of packages full of goodies.  Starting with this card.  I think he will laugh when he gets this card in the mail.

When I saw the cue card, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to create.  Then I remember receiving a few new stamps and dies from Taylored Expressions. The Pocketful of Sunshine set is perfect for a clean and simple card.

To create this card:

  1. Cut the cardstock to 4 x 4.
  2. Using the pocket die, cut out one pocket die.
  3. Stamp an image from the Pocketful of Sunshine stamp set onto the front of the card base.
  4. Color the image in with colored pencils.
  5. Adhere the die cut pocket underneath the stamped image.
  6. Stamp out the sentiment and the card is good to go.
  7. Round the top corners of the card.

Six easy steps to follow.  What do you think?

Are you inspired to play along?  Please let me know below!
