Hello everyone!! I’m here today with the Where Creativity Meets C9 Blog Challenge Design Team!! Our challenge this month is Spring!!
Spring!! Can mother nature help us out here on the east coast. It is still very cold and spring doesn’t look like it will show up anytime soon.
When I think of spring, I think of bicycling. It’s so much fun to ride your bike around town.
Take a look at my card:
For this card, I used a piece of patterned paper and Concord & 9th Orange You Sweet Dies.
Super quick and simple!
What do you think? Please let me know below.
I can’t wait to see how you interpret our challenge theme this month.

Here’s how: Create a project using Concord and 9th and upload it on the Where Creativity Meets C9 blog by the 29th of every month of for a chance to win. A random winner will be chosen and it could be you!!

Hello everyone!! I’m here with CS Take It Make It: Take a Technique Challenge Inspiration for April.
Our theme is Take a Technique: Spring Flower!!
For this month’s challenge the technique we would like you to stamp a flower anywhere on your project, or even real ones!! Cover your art with flower embellishments, or make a flower shaped creation. Go crazy (or minimal if that’s your thing!) with the florals…and don’t forget to include stamping somewhere too!!
This should be super fun to see what you come up with.
Take a look at my card:
Aren’t these flowers so pretty. I would love to see these on my table everyday.
Here is how I created this card:
- Cut the white card base to an A2 size, 4.25 by 5.50 scored at 5.50.
- Use a scorer and randomly score lines on the card front. I learned this technique from Laurie Make It Monday video over on the Papertrey Ink Blog.
- Then stamp the flower image and sentiment from Technique Tuesday Budding Poppies stamp set where you want it on the card front. Use a Misti Stamping Tool for accurate stamping.
- Color the flowers using Copic markers R35, R39, and R89 for great red color blending.
Nice, simple and elegant.
So what do you think? I love how this card turned out.
We have two prizes to offer this month, the first is our sponsor prize. This winner will be chosen randomly from all of the entries in the challenge! The sponsor for April: Traplet!
Prize: All Six Kate Crane Art Journaling DVD’s
Our second winner is our Design Winner. This winner is chosen by our DT, who all vote for their favorite design from all of the entries. This winner will have their winning project published in Craft Stamper Magazine, they will have a GDT slot for an upcoming challenge, and will also feature in their very own Winners Profile blog post!
Now if that isn’t a reason to play along I’m not sure what is!!
I can’t wait to see what you come up with.

Hello everyone!!! I’m back again for this month’s Your Next Stamp Sneak Peek!!
We are getting ready for our March Release Blog Hop tomorrow with a sneak peek today. Are you excited? I am!!
Take a look at my card that I’m giving you a sneak peek of:
YNS Supplies: Cool Easter Chick, Double Stitched Hill Die, Give Thanks for Sparkle Gumdrops
Other Supplies: Tim Holtz Watercolor Paper, Stampin Up Gumball Green CS, Brother Scan and Cut, Tombow Recycled Recycled Colored Pencils, Versafine Ink
Creating this card was fun. I just stamped the images and sentiment on the watercolor paper and colored the top birds with Tombow Recycled Colored Pencils.
Then I die cut the hill out of green cardstock using Your Next Stamp Double Stitched Hill Die.
I adhered it to the card base.
Then I colored 3 more chicks, cut them out with the Brother ScanNCut.
After that I adhered them to the bottom of the card.
I added three gumdrops for a finishing touch.
Nice and easy!
I hope I see all of you tomorrow for the March 2016 Release Hop!
