{Clean and Simple} CASology 196 – Move

Hello everyone!! It’s CASology Tuesday!! We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card is:

Take a look at my card:

I have to be super doper honest with you! I created this card a couple of weeks ago because I wanted to play with a new set of watercolors that I received called Gansai Tambi Starry Colors.

Not know what to do with the completed card, I just put it to the side and was going to use it for my Did You Know Series on Instagram.

Then I saw the cue card and said to myself, these feathers move when the when blow so why not use it. My son says mom I don’t see the correlation. I tried to convince him, he just looked at me. LOL!! I told him I’m going with it.

So here we are:

Creating this card was super cool. The watercolor is so vibrant and pretty. I will talk more about them in my series that will go live this week.

All I did was stamp the Papertrey Ink What the Doodle Feather stamp set image using Versamark Ink and sprinkled Hero Arts White Embossing Powder.

Heat set.

Then I watercolored the Red Gold and the Yellow Gold into the feathers with little water. The watercolor is so shimmer and creamy. A little bit goes a long way.

I used Mama Elephant Femme Frames to die cut the card front panel. Then I adhered the panel to the card base using Fun Foam.

Super easy and beautiful!!

I’ve never seen anything like this. Is the tray next to the card filled with powder? Please tell me how you did this?

Hey Laura!! Those little pans are watercolor pans that hold different gold shimmer colors. Totally awesome. I have a short video on IG that show how I used them with a paint brush and water. Here is the link: https://www.instagram.com/p/BE2Z-4fx5yI/?taken-by=kreativekymona

Hi Kymona ~ This card is classy and classic! Absolutely love everything about it. The white and gold feathers are stunning against that black background. I’m loving that gold set of Gansai Tambi, as I already love the others….guess I’ll have to get these too! Thanks for enabling!! ~HUGS~

Love those feathers, and they are really striking the way you have colored them, and also how they pop against your dark card base.

Gorgeous feathers, Kymona! I laughed at your son not getting the MOVE connection, but I definitely did 🙂

Ha ha! I totally see the correlation! Love how those colours pop against the black. Gorgeous!

I see the correlation, too! Feathers definitely move…and they help birds move while they are still attached, too! This card is SO stunning…the white embossing and gold coloring against the dark card base…just gorgeous!!!
