Pocket Page Spread with Gossamer Blue

Hello everyone!!  I’m here today with a pocket page spread with Gossamer Blue Life Pages Kit!

I haven’t created a pocket page in awhile so when I first pulled out my supplies I was a bit rusty, LOL!!  I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do or what photos to use.

So, I looked at the kit in its entirety and decided that I would let the journaling cards lead the way.

I loved all of the green color in the kit and I knew I could get photos with some green in it!

Take a look:

My one little word arrived so I knew I need to take a picture with it.  So I put on my green coat and went outside.  I am always behind the camera so its nice to be in front of it.

Note: I use my iPhone 6s Plus for most of my shot but for these photos I pulled out my Canon EOS 70D.

When I finished taking the photos, I sat down and put the page together.  I love the currently journaling card because I was working in the moment.  This wasn’t a planned page.  I added some simple embellishments from the kit for texture.

Perfect right!!  That was so easy to put together.

Do you create pocket pages? If not, will you start?  I would love to see them!!

What do you think about my pages?  I would love to know.  Please let me know below.

Here are some peeks at some of the kits:

Planner Kit Goodies

Life Pages Kit Goodies

I used the Planner Pages Kit paper to create my card, take a look:

Here’s how I created this card:

  1. Cut the card base to 4.25 by 11, scored at 5.50.
  2. Cut the pattern paper to 4.25 by 5.50.
  3. Adhered the pattern paper to the card front using Tombow Mono Adhesive + Permanent.
  4. Using Lawn Fawn Stitched Heart Envelope Die cut the small note card out of Bristol cardstock.
  5. Use the Mini MISTI to stamp the sentiment from The Stamp Market You Are My Fave stamp set on the die cut notecard using Versafine Onyx Ink.
  6. Add 3M foam adhesive to the note card and adhere it to the center of the card front.

Nice, easy and a great way to use up pattern paper.

What do you think? Please let me know below. I would love to hear from you.
