YNS Sketch and Color Challenge #20

Hello everyone!!! I’m here today with Your Next Stamp (YNS) and this week’s Sketch and Color Challenge #21!!

Each challenge has a sketch and a color combo to choose from.

You know me, I went with the sketch!! I never seem to have the colors need for this. I hope I can change for the next challenge, LOL!

Take a look at my card:

Yes, another shaker card. I’m addicted to these cards. Or is it the sequin that I love seeing move about in the card. LOL, LOL, LOL!!

YNS Supplies: Happy 6th Birthday Stamp Set, Balloon Buddies Die Set

Other Supplies: Retired Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Wonder DSP, My Favorite Things Hybrid Black Ink, Foam Tape, Lucy Abrams Peachy Sequin, We R Memory Keepers Fuse Tool, Recollections White Heavyweight Cardstock, Recollections Black Heavyweight Cardstock

Creating this card was a bit easy.

All I did was cut my DSP to make the sketch. I adhered the yellow panel to the card base with a tape runner.

I die cut a circle in the front card panel. That is where my shaker packet will go.

I created my shaker pocket using my Fuse Tool. If you want to know who to do that you can check out my tutorial here.

I attached the shaker pocket to the card panel with the tape runner. I added foam tape the back of that card panel and attached the entire piece to the card base.

I cut two strips of DSP to different sizes. I stamped the sentiment on the bigger piece and attached both pieces with the tape runner.

I die cut the two balloons out of the same DSP and attached them to the front of the shaker window. I die cut the balloon strings out of black card stock and attached them to the balloons.

I told you it was easy. Now its your turn!!

YNS Sketch and Color Challenge #20

Hello everyone!!! I’m here today with Your Next Stamp (YNS) and this week’s Sketch and Color Challenge #20!!

Once again I choose to go with the sketch!! Take a look at my card:

YNS: Plant Some Kindness, Teal Gumdrops

Other Supplies: Lawn Fawn Sweater Weather, Copic Markers, My Favorite Things Hybrid Black Ink, Clear Wink of Stella, Foam Tape

I have to say this was a hard sketch for me. I couldn’t figure out what to do or what stamp set I wanted to use.

So I decided to go with a stamp set that I haven’t used yet.

This card was easy to create. I simply cut my cardstock and pattern paper to different size and adhered them to the card base.

I stamped my image using MFT Hybrid Black Ink and colored the images with some Copic markers: Y06, R29, G17E25, E31.

I pop the stamped panel up with foam tape.

I add three gumdrops to the bottom right corner.

YNS Sketch and Color Challenge #19

Hello everyone!!! I’m here today with Your Next Stamp (YNS) and this week’s Sketch and Color Challenge #19!!

YNS Supplies: Sea Creatures Set One, Sea Creatures Set Two, Whatnot Sentiment Five,
Love Earth Gumdrops

Other Supplies: Broken China Distress Ink, Copic Markers, Versafine Ink, MFT Hybrid Ink, foam adhesive

I cut my front panel to match the sketch. I used Broken China Distress Ink to blend my sea background. I stamped the seaweed and bubbles using Versafine Ink.

I used My Favorite Things Hybrid Ink to stamped my fish and whale. I colored them using Copic Markers: whale C1, C3, C5, O and the fish B12, YR68

I attached the whale, fish and front panel with foam adhesive.

Staying with the sketch I added YNS Love Earth Gumdrops in the corners of the scene.
I have to admit creating scene are hard for me. I’m not sure why but they are. I hope a did a good job here.

YNS Sketch and Color Challenge #18

Hello everyone!!! I’m here today with Your Next Stamp (YNS) and the Sketch and Color Challenge #18!!

Each challenge has a sketch and a color combo to choose from.

YNS Supplies: Waddles Rainbow Fun, Waddles Rainbow Fun Die Set, Whatnot Sentiment Five, Plant Some Kindness

Other Supplies: Simple Stories So Fancy Pattern Paper, Lucy Adams Cherry Blossom Sequin, Glossy Accents, Copic Markers, Circle Die, Neenah Solar White Cardstock

I cut all of my pieces of papers according to the sketch. Instead of using an actually circle I decided to create a shaker window in the shape of a circle.

I use my fuse tool to create the shaker packet and adhered it to the front panel of the card. I adhered all of the pieces together to create this cute and fun card.

I used Copic Markers: C1, C3, RV17 to color my penguins.
