String of Lights Stamp Set

Let’s look at what I created:

I love the sentiments in String of Lights Stamp Set! They are funny and delightful! I love the play on words with the sentiment I used to create this super clean and simple Christmas card.

To create the tangled look, I stamped the first set of lights. Then I cut a mask and placed it on top of the image and stamped in the other direction.

I love how they turned out.

I used Derwent Inktense Pencils to color in the image.

What do you think? Will you have a tangle-free holiday? I would love to hear.

Happy Holidays and Giveaway!!

Hello everyone!!  I’m here today on the Sweet Stamp Shop sharing another gift packaging.

I’m always looking for different ways to present gifts to people that I care about. I think it gives an added touch to the gift. So thanks to my new blogging friend Nicole from Unity Handmade, who taught me how to make this awesome packaging.

Well today’s gift is for my daughter’s teacher. Teacher’s get so many gifts from their students. Which means teacher’s have to write thank you notes to show their appreciation. So as apart of my daughters gift to her teacher, we included thank you cards.

Now you can just give them the cards wrapped in a nice ribbon or clear box but made a really cute package out of pattern paper that houses the thank you cards.

Take a look:

Can you image getting a set of cards in this packaging. I love this little box.

Take a look at the opening:

The thank you cards fit so neatly inside of the box. This box holds 4 cards and envelopes.

Warm Holiday Wishes Tag

Hello everyone!!  I’m here today playing with Tag You’re It!!  This is my first time playing with them.  I’m happy I found them.  I recently started making tags and I love them.  They are super fun to make.

TYIC_12

The TYIC Designer for his challenge is Tracey McNeely and her tag is fabulous!!

When I looked at her tag, I thought of pops of color.  So I decided that I wanted to have a pop of color on my tag too.

Take a look at my card:

Warm Holiday Wishes

I love that pop of that Cable Car Red Wow embossing powder on my gloves.

Warm Holiday Wishes sideview

Not along is it a tag, but it doubles as a card too!!  So you can write your message inside instead of the back.

This is how I created my tag:

I cut two tags out of Bazzill Marshmallow cardstock using Reverse Confetti Tag Me, Too.

I used Simon Says Stamp Big Holiday Wishes stamp set to stamp my snowflakes with Versamark ink.  Then I embossed them with Hero Arts White Embossing Power.

I stamped my sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black Ink.

I stamped the mitten string with Versafine Onyx Black ink around the hole in the tag.

I stamped my mittens using Versamark ink and embossed with Cable Car Red Wow Emobossing Powder.

I fussy cut the mittens out and adhered them with foam adhesive. I added Clear Wink of Stella on my mittens for a sparkly shine.

I attached my second tag to the back of the first tag with adhesive to create a tag that opens.

I strung Stampin’ Up! Retired Whisper White Sweater Ribbon to finish off my tag.

Nice and easy.  So what do you think?

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!!!  This is such a great time to be around family and friends.  I’m thankful for my children, my family and my good health.  This year has had some ups and downs for me health-wise but I’ve come out on top,  so to that I am truly grateful.
