Are you ready for my big reveal?  I made one project and one card to inspire you!

Take a look at my project:

Halloween boxes (YNS)

I created these boxes for my daughter’s class.  Something nice and easy for them to open.  I usually create these fancy things for them and they don’t really appreciate it so I figure lets go simple this year.

YNS Supplies: Halloween Pumpkins Stamp Set, Halloween Pumpkins Die Set
Other Supplies:  Tiny Treat Boxes and White and Tangerine Tango Two-Tone Trim

Take a look at my card:

Spooky Spells (YNS)

YNS: Spooky Spells, Candy Corn Gumdrops, Spellbound GumdropsOther Supplies: My Favorite Things Hybrid Ink, Neenah Desert Storm Cardstock, Recollections White Cardstock

For this card, I stamped and color all of my images from this new fun set.  I stamped the flask and pot first.  Then I masked them off and stamped my bench.  After that I colored the images with Copic Marker: YR68, G07, C1, C5, C7, C3, V15, E33, E35, E37. I stamped my sentiments at the end.

I layered that card panel on top of my card base.  I sprinkled some gumdrops in random place on my card.

So what do you think?  I had so much fun creating these boxes and card to inspire all of you and show you the versatility of the stamp sets! Which one of these items are favorite?  I would love to hear from you!

Be sure not to miss any blog along the way, because one lucky commenter will have a chance to win a $25 YNS gift certificate. Winner will be announced on the YNS blog on September 9th.  So don’t for get to leave a comment on each of the blogs participating in the blog hop.

Second Post for the today!

CS Take It Make It Post is here.

Hello everyone!  I’m here again today with DoubleClick Connection Skittles Challenge!

The theme is Thank you!

November is the time of the year where we give extra thanks to those that we love and those that we’ve met along the way.

I choose to use pumpkins because they are perfect for Thanksgiving.

Take a look at my card:

I'm so thankful for you

I decided to go with a clean and simple card because thank you’s don’t have to be over the top.  They are clean and simple.

I love this pattern paper because of the autumn feel.

Here is how I created this card:

1. I used Hero Arts Harvest Die Cuts to cut out my pumpkins from Lawn Fawn Sweater Weather Pattern Paper.

2. I adhered the pumpkins to the card base using adhesive.

3. I stamped the sentiment from Hero Arts Thankful for You stamp set.

4. I added two Pumpkin skittles to both sides of the sentiment.

5. I tied a small bow out of Lawn Fawn Orchid trimming.

6. I rounded the corners and I was done.

So what do you think?

I hope you join us and play along with out challenge this month.

Thankful Thanksgiving….

Hello everyone!!  I’m here today with a2z Scrapbooking and our November Challenge which is Anything Goes!

I decided to go with a Thanksgiving theme.

Thanksgiving is that day where we gather with family and friends to show how grateful we are to them. Big dinners are cook, tables are set and everyone is waiting for the turkey!!

My family is the most important part of who I am. I am grateful for each and everyone of them. I have two children, five brothers and sister, my mom and day, 5 nieces and nephews and so many aunts, uncles and my grandparents. When we get together we have a blast.

Before we have dinner, we gather together, hold hands and go around the room and say what we are thankful for this year. I love doing that because our lives are so busy sometimes we forget to tell each other that we are grateful for them. Once the last person speaks, my grandmother says a prayer and then we sit and eat together as a family.

This year, I wanted to do something extra. I wanted to give my brother and sister something to take with them.

So I create a couple of Thanksgiving tags that have a special note on the back for each of my sibling.

Take a look at my tags:

To get a closer look at all of my tags, please head over to a2z Scrapbooking blog and take a look.

So what do you think? Do you think my siblings will like their tags?

All but three of the items I used for my tags can all be found at the a2z Scrapbooking Store. If you would like to purchase any of the supplies I used please head on over to the store and use the coupon code KYMONA15 to get 15% off your purchase.

I hope my tags gives you some inspiration to participate in our Current Challenge. It runs to the end of the month, which ends in two weeks. So hurry and create!
