Technique Tuesday July 2018 Countdown Day 2

Hello everyone!!! Today I’m showcasing Technique Tuesday June 2018 Release!! Were you pleased with yesterday’s projects? Well let’s see what today holds.

Let’s take a look:

It’s all about Seahorses!!!! Let me introduce you to Simon & Sandy Seahorse Stamp Set. It’s so cute with amazing sentiments.

Here’s how this card was created:

Use the seahorse from the Simon & Sandy Seahorse Crafting Die Set to die cut a frame out of a card panel.
Stamp the seahorse from the Simon & Sandy Seahorse Stamp Set and die cut it out.
Use the die cut card panel to help place the stamped seahorse in place on the card base.
Stamp the sentiment on the card panel using black ink.
Cut a piece of plastic to the size of the die cut seahorse.
Add Little Things by Lucy’s Card Let’s Be Mermaids Sequin in the plastic case.
Seal the plastic with We R Memory Keepers Fuse Tool.
Adhere the plastic shaker to the back of the die cut panel.
Add 3M Foam Tape to the back of the card panel and adhere the panel to the card base.
Add some paint splatters to finish the card off.

Technique Tuesday July 2018 Release Countdown Day 1

Hello everyone!!! Today I’m showcasing one stamp set from Technique Tuesday July 2018 Release!! Yes, the summer has finally arrived here in NYC. I’m so excited about that. I love the warmer weather and this new release.

Let’s take a look:

Here’s how this card was created:

Cut a piece of watercolor paper and tape it down to a study surface.
Wet the paper with a lot of water.
Decide on the colors you want to use from Prima Watercolor Confections Essence and add them to the wet watercolor paper loosely.
Heat set the watercolor.
Stamp the dragonflies from the new Beautiful Dragonflies stamp set in black ink. Do not stamp so hard. You want a faded look for parts of the dragonflies.
Stamp the sentiment using Embossing Ink.
Sprinkle Antique Gold Embossing Powder over the stamped sentiment.
Heat set that embossing powder.
Adhere the watercolor panel to the card base.
Use We R Memory Keepers 3-Way Corner Punch to round the corners.

Simple yet elegant!

Technique Tuesday Animal House Giveaway

Hello everyone!!! Technique Tuesday has a fabulous giveaway going on on their blog right now! They are showcasing their super cute farm animal stamp sets.

Take a look at the stamp set I used:

I used the Parker & Penny Stamp Set to create this clean and simple card. This set is full of funny sentiments with two cute pigs, Parker and Penny.

Here’s how I created this card:

Die cut the card base and circle using Papertrey Ink Noted Scalloped Square Die Collection.

Stamp the pig and sentiment using the MISTI.

Use Tombow’s Irojiten Colored Pencils, Rainforest to color the pig. I used Volume 1: P1 Orchid Pink and P2 Coral Pink.

Attach the circle die cut to the card base using 3M Foam Tape.

Altenew June 2018 Stamp/Die Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Take a look at my Pocket Banner layout:

This new pocket banner die is super cute! Image making a complete photo banner as a gift for someone’s graduation.

Here’s how to created this Pocket Banner layout:

Die cut a piece of Our Family patterned paper using the Pocket Banner Die.

Set that aside.

Stamp the open leaves from the Leaf Canopy Stamp Set on to watercolor paper.

Watercolor the leaves green.

Die cut the leaves using the Leaf Canopy Die Set and a Big Shot.

Print a 2 x 3 photo with a border.

Adhere the flowers and photo using foam adheasive.

Stamp the sentiment from the Leaf Canopy Stamp Set using black ink.

Thread ribbon through the holes and hang it on your wall.

Nice and easy.
