CS Take It Make It: Take a Stamp Challenge Inspiration Card

Hello everyone!!  I’m here again with CS Take In Make It: Take a Stamp Inspiration for our March Challenge.

Our theme is Take a Stamp!! That means take any stamp and create something, anything goes!!!  Now if that isn’t easy, I’m not sure what is!!

Take a look at my inspiration card:

You've been on my mind

Take a look at those flowers!! I masked and stamped them in clusters.

I used Simon Says Stamp Flowers on my Mind stamp set to stamp my flowers.

I stamped the flowers using My Favorite Things Wild Cherry Die Ink and Lemon Drop Die Ink.

I cut a very thin strip of black cardstock and adhered it to the bottom of my card base.

I added Your Next Stamp Black Gumdrops for added interest.

So what do you think? Are you ready to play along with us? I hope so!! The prize pack is awesome.

CASology 137 – Tropical

Hello everyone!!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!! We are back again with another Cue Card for you!!

Week 137 - Tropical

When I saw this cue card I thought of fun under the sun!! Especially since we are covered in snow here.  I can’t wait for the sun to start shining bright here.

I created two completed different cards for this challenge.

For the first card I blended 4 different colors to create a beautiful tropical background.

Take a look at my card:

You are coolThe colors are so pretty!! To create this card:

1. I die cut the circle using Simon Says Stamp Stitched Circles Die.

2. I die cut the buttons turned into “flowers” out using Papertrey Ink Button Stacks Die.

3. I used Distress Ink Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed and Salty Ocean to create my tropical background.

4. My sentiment is from Lawn Fawn, they sent it to me with one of my orders as a thank you.  It was super fitting for this card.

5. I stamped the sentiment then I flagged the thin strip of cardstock. I attached it to my circle using my regular tape runner.

5. I attached my stitched circle and buttons using foam adhesive.

6. I attached Doodlebug Design Sprinkles Birthday Boy enamel dots to the center of the buttons.

You are cool straight foward

I love how that card turned out.

Now onto my second card:

This card is for Kathy’s 30 day coloring challenge.  I’ve been practicing my coloring so I wanted to stay with that challenge.

Take a look at my card:

Hello Sunshine

For this card I used a retired Stampin’ Up! image and colored it with Prisma color pencils just to see how the look.  I’m ok with this image but I’m not satisfied with it. I want to practice this type of coloring more.

I used Distress Ink Salty Ocean and the sentiment stamp is Lawn Fawn Hello Sunshine.

This card fits the tropical theme, the sun, the ocean water, the kids in the sunshine.  Who could ask for anything more.

I hope my cards have inspired you to join us this month.

Are You One Of A Kind?

Hello everyone!  I’m back again today with another Papertrey Ink Make It Monday #168: Baby Wipe Stamping!!  I’m so excited about this Make It Monday.  Ashley taught us how to use baby wipes to do our multicolor stamping.  I had a blast with this technique today.

Take a look:

baby wipes and reinkers

First I added Stampin’ Up!’s new in colors to my baby wipe.  I randomly added the ink to the baby wipe.

teast sheet

I wanted to make sure my card looked a little different then Ashley’s, so I stamped my sentiment using the same baby wipe.  I used this piece of card stock as my scrap to make sure my stamps were inking up properly.  I love the colors on this butterfly and the sentiment.  Can you see how each stamp has different colors.  No two stamps are the same.

Closer look at my butterfly.  The colors are awesome!

I absolutely love how my card turned out. This was such a great technique to try.  The look reminds me of water-coloring, which everyone who knows me, knows I LOVE water-coloring.

Flowers Any One….

Hello everyone, I’m back again with another card for CASology Week 96: Flower challenge.  I am pushing this one.  I only have 1 hour and 58 minutes to submit my card.

This see how I do under pressure!!!!

I stopped at McDonalds to pick up a large coffee for my mother yesterday morning and I saw these leaves that was just watered and the water was just sitting on the leaves.  They looks so pretty, I had to take a picture of them.

Water on the leaves

What a great way to start the morning!!  They leaves were so still that the water drops just sat there so peacefully.  I love it.

My card today gives me that same feeling.  Very peaceful with very vibrant colors.  I used Simon Says Stamp June Card Kit to create my card.

Love is everything front

The inspiration for this card came from Sarah Moerman.

No long talking today, I only have 1 hour and 45 minutes to get my card in.

What do you think?
