Grateful Stamp Set

It’s so easy to create as well.

Here’s how:

Score the paper in half lengthwise.

Score the paper on the short side in 3 inch intervals.

You will have 8 scored panel measuring 3 x 4 inches each.

Cut along the fold lengthwise, cutting across only 3 panels.

Fold the patterned paper as shown.

Bring the uncut panel together and fold the other pages to form the notebook.

Glue the 2nd and third panel together to from a page. Glue the 4th and 5th panels to form a page and glue the 6th and 7th pages together to form a page.

Create a cover using a 4 x 6.5 piece of patterned paper. Glue the front and back sheets of the notebook.

Paste these two pages to the cover of this mini journal

Decorate the cover.

{Clean and Simple} – Parent

Hello everyone!!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

Take a look at my card:

1500 colored pencils

For this card, I used Technique Tuesday Flowers For Mom Stamp Set! It’s just the cutest stamp I’ve seen. I love that little flower. Perfect for coloring.

Here’s how I created this card:

Cut cardstock to 4 x 8, scored at 4.

Use the MISTI to stamp all of the images and sentiment from Technique Tuesday Flowers for Mom stamp set using Altenew Jet Black Crisp Dye Ink.

Color the flower and the butterfly using Tombow 1500 Colored Pencils. They are brand new and layer colors beautifully.

Add just a touch of Wink of Stella glitter to the flower petals and butterfly for an added touch.

To finish the card off, use We R Memory Keepers 3 Way Corner Punch to punch all four corners using the 10mm and the 7mm sides.

What do you think?

{Clean and Simple} – Butterfly

Hello everyone!!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

Take a look at my card:

For this week’s cue card I used my Paper Artsy Eclectica 3 by Kim Dellow paired with Derwent Inktense Pencils.

Simply stamp the small marking stamp using Altenew Permenant Black Ink in the lower left corner.

Then stamp the butterfly image with the same black ink and watercolor the image using the three colors of your choice with the Derwent Inktense Pencils and spread water with a zero paintbrush.

Let the watercolor dry.

Position the butterfly where you want it so that you could stamp the sentiment.  Once the sentiment from Papertrey Ink Butterfly Hope stamp Set is stamped then adhere the butterfly using Stampin Up! Mini Dimension.

Super simple and easy.

{Clean and Simple} – Cherish

Hello everyone!!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card:

Take a look at my card:

For this cue card I went with Darkroom Door Fine Butterflies Stamp Set paired with Altenew More Than Words Stamp Set.

When I think of the word cherish, I think of something special. Love is special and so are are butterflies.  I thought about leaving the butterfly uncolored but quickly changed my mind.  Watercoloring this image really made the image pop.  I used Jane Davenport Mermaid Markers.

Nice, simple and easy.

I have to say I really love this card.  There’s a couple of reasons:

I’m in love with all of the new dies that are being released today.  This card uses a couple of them.

Here is how I created this card:

a2z Scrapbooking January 2016 Challenge

Second Post for the day
If your looking for So Suzy Stamps January Challenge, click here

Hello everyone!!  I’m here with a2z Scrapbooking today with our January Challenge!!!

Happy New Year to all of you!!!!  Our new challenge is all about Fireworks (add some glitter and bling)!!!!!

Check out the card I created for this challenge:

Thanks a bunch (a2z)

I used Wink of Stella and Hero Arts Pearls and Gems for my Fireworks!!  I went with a thank you card instead of a New Years card because thank you cards are in order for all of the gifts my children received from their relatives.

Creating this card was easy!!

Here’s how:

  1. My card base is from Michael’s Recollections Heavyweight cardstock.
  2. Then I used Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles Die to cut my card panel from Neenah Desert Storm Cardstock.
  3. Then I used Hero Arts Stamp and Cut Thanks and stamped the sentiment and stars.
  4. Then I die cut the Hero Arts Swallowtail Butterfly Fancy Die out and adhered the butterfly to the card panel using glue dots.
  5. For the bling, I added Clear Wink of Stella to the butterfly and the Hero Arts Pearls and Gems Natural Mixed Accents to the card front.

Lets take a closer look:

Thanks closeup (a2z)
