Thanks…

Hello everyone!! I’m here today with CAS(E) this sketch #90!  Today’s sketch was created by Chrissy Larson.

I’m also here with Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes Challenge.

wed-newchallenge-headerI’ve noticed recently that I’ve ordered stamp sets and do not use them.  So, I decided that I will start creating cards with stamps sets that I’ve never used.

So, today’s card was created with Papertrey Ink’s Fancy That stamp set.  I also wanted to use some cardstock that I haven’t used in a while.  So I decided on Stampin’ Up! new in color Blackberry Bliss and Lost Lagoon cardstock.

These two colors together really look so nice together.

Take a look at my card:

Take a look at my rhinestones.  I colored them with the same colors that’s in the medallion.

The colors in the medallion are Blackberry Bliss, Lost Lagoon and Hello Honey all from Stampin’ Up’s new in colors markers.

I die cut the Simon Says Stamp Thanks die from Lost Lagoon card stock 4 times for dimension.

Thanks medallion front

I cut white cardstock using Avery Elle’s Custom Panels Die to get that odd shape.

What do you think?

All Smiles…..

Hello everyone!  I’m here today with Papertrey Ink’s Make It Monday #172: Rainbow Medallions!

Dawn Mcvey showed us how to create beautiful rainbow medallions using the stamps we have in our stash!  It’s all about placement and different colors.Dawn McveyI’ve been thinking all day long about the different stamps I could use to create this great affect.  I couldn’t think of one.  When I arrived home, I had a big box waiting for me in my kitchen.  When I looked at the label it said Papertrey Ink.  I was so excited because I had a feeling about what it was!!

My new Papertrey Ink Market Kit Shakers + Sprinkles!!

Shakers and Sprinkles KitYes, yes, yes!  I’ve been waiting patiently for this order to come.  It’s been on back-order for a couple of months.  When I saw the half sunburst as a stamp, I knew I was going to use it for this in my Make It Monday project.

So without further a due, here is my card:

Smiles 2

I use four different colors to create this look.  I took Dawn’s advice by stamping the image by its opposite so that you don’t have to worry about lining them up next to each other.  This was really fun to do and it really allows you to look at your stamps differently.

The sentiment and the sunburst are from Papertrey Ink Make It Market Kit Shakers + Sprinkles.  This kit was such a hit on their site that it cause the site to crash back in May.  I’m sorry to tease those of you who didn’t get it, but it is sold out.

Now you know why I’m All Smiles!
