CAS Birthday Card Swap

Today’s card is a clean and simple birthday card I created for a swap that I’m participating in. I decided to do white on white because it has a very classy look. I embossed the card front with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. Then I used a card mat that was punched with the Fancy Flower and the Petite Petals punch to create the flowers on the front of the card. Stamp the sentiment and added the embellishments. Easy Peasy!!

CAS(E) this Sketch!

I am participating in this new card sketch by CAS(E) this Sketch! Today’s card is a series of three stamped images across the front of the card with the sentiment on top or below.

I was wondering about the smiley face being in black but the more I look at it the more I loved how the card came out. I balanced the smiley face out with the sentiment in black. The twine matched the color combo of the sun. For me this is a well balanced card. What do you think?

Stencil Class Day 4

Today is the last day to my online stencil card class. Today’s assignment was to use any of the techniques we learn and create a card. I choose to use the free stencil that was given to us. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the stencil. Then I use sponge daubers to apply the ink for each of the flowers. Tell me what you think?

I really had a great time in this class. I learned a lot about stenciling. I will continue to use stenciling more on my cards.

Holiday Card Workshop Day 3 – Clean and Simple

I have to tell you that I’m loving my online card class. I’m learning so many different techniques that I can’t wait to share them with you. Today’s card theme was clean and simple. I must say clean and simple is easy and delightful. I want to make more cards using this style.
