Happy New Year- Made with Love

Happy New Year to all of you!!

My computer is up and running now.  I’m so excited!! This is a good start to the new year!

I’ve been working really hard on my new cards for the new year!  My new years resolution is to blog as much as possible to stay current with all of you.  So here goes my first card for the new year.  This card was made for a card swap that I’m apart of.  I hope the ladies receiving this card loves it as much as I do.  Since Valentine’s Day is next month, I made a card that would be perfect to give to someone you love.  Today’s card is called Made with Love.  There was a lot of love that went into making this playful non-traditional Valentine’s Day Card.

Made with Love

Yes, the front on the card has a envelope on it!!  Yes, there is a smaller card in there.  I had so much fun making this card.  Check out the envelope and the card inside.

Made with Love flap open

KreativeKymona Tip:

1. I used Velcro tabs to keep the envelope closed.

2. The envelope was made with Cardstock and DSP.

3. The cardstock size was 2  3/4  x  4  3/4 scored at 1  1/2 and 1/2

4 The DSP size was 3  1/2  x  2  1/2 scored at 3/8 on both sides from the edge.

New Computer

Hello everyone,

It’s been awhile since I’ve been able to post.  I bought a new computer and it took 150 hours to migrate all of my files from my laptop to my new desktop.  Now that it’s done, I don’t like it.  Go figure!!  It’s just to much stuff on my new computer.  So, please bear with me while I fix my computer issues.  I have some new things to post.  I’m excited about that.  I just need to get my new computer up and running.

Tea Cup and Carrier

Hello everyone,

Did you miss me?  I’ve been busy working on different projects to show you.  This next project is soooo cute!  The idea came from Donna Wicks!  I had so much fun making this tea cup and carrier.  The cups are so small.  I’ve never seen these types of cups so small.  My sister loved the cups so much she begged me for one so she can drink out of it, LOL.  She said they are perfect to give hot chocolate to small one.

Take a look:

Basket one Basket three Basket two

I made these for two ladies in my reading group at work.  These two women have reached their reading goal before December 31 and I thought they deserved a really nice prize.

I will list the supplies used to make this project on my next post.

Please let me know what you think by leaving a comment.

Hello everyone,

I know I’m out of order with my cards but it is okay with me. These cards were made with some retired paper from Stampin’ Up! last year holiday card catalog.  I loved this paper.  The first card of the 3 was my favorite in the pack.   This card is such a great way to use double sided paper.  You get to see both sides at once.  The idea for these cards came from Dawn Griffith, a fellow demonstrator.
