Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Cue Card just for you!!

This challenge will go on for two weeks instead of one!!  Happy Holiday and Merry Christmas to all of you!!

This week’s cue card is :

Week 178 - Merry

Take a look at my card:

Merry Christmas (CAS)

I have to admit there is no stamping on this card!  My sentiment and image are digital.  I created the sentiment using the Montez font and the image is a photoshop brush.

I used my Stabilo Pens Green 68/36 and Red 68/48 to color in the berries and leaves!

This card was so easy to create its unbelievable. Photoshop is a great tool to have and actually use, LOL!!

Super easy and fun!!

So what do you think?  Do you agree that our crafty supplies are our toys.  Let me know.

Now its your turn!! I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card is :

Week 177 - Toy

Take a look at my card:

toy birds (CAS)

OMG!!  I love those birds!!  Now your probably wondering what does this card have to do with the cue card!

I had a hard time trying to figure out what I was going to do since I didn’t have any stamps that represent toys.  So, I thought and thought about what I could do.  What can I do, then a light bulb went off.  I receive happymail almost everyday and I am so giddy, like a kid in a candy store.

My new stamps and dies are my “TOYS“!!!

Here is a picture of my newest happymail package:

IMG_6599

It was from Concord & 9th, who happens to be our sponsor this week.  Their new release is totally amazing. I couldn’t wait to play with my new toys.

Take a look at the inside of my card:

Toy birds inside (CAS)

Oh what joy my stamps, dies, sequin, ink pads, and all of my crafting tools brings me.  These are my big girl toys!!

To create my card using Concord & 9th By Your Side Bundle:

  1. I used Stampin’ Up! Woodgrain embossing folder to emboss the front of my card.
  2. Then I die cut the birds out of Tim Holtz Watercolor paper.
  3. I used my Koi Watercolor to color my birds and tree limb.
  4. I used Tombow Multipurpose Glue to adhere the birds to the card front.
  5. I stamped my sentiment on the inside of the card.

Super easy and fun!!

So what do you think?  Do you agree that our crafty supplies are our toys.  Let me know.

CASology – 176 Tree

Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card is :

Week 176 - Tree

Take a look at my card:

Pear Tree

I love watercoloring so I decided to do that technique for this clean and simple card.  I have to admit, I’m not impressed with my partridge.  The rest of my coloring, I love but that bird, doesn’t impress me.  It just means I need to practice it more.  I should have waited for each section of the bird to dry first before starting another color.

Despite all of that, I love how my card turned out.  This tree is super cute and perfect for the holiday season.

To create this card, all I did was stamp the tree and sentiment from retired Stampin’ Up! Partridge & Pears.  I used Akashiya Sai Watercolor Brush Pen to color the images in. It was super relaxing to watercolor today.

I had all of nieces on Sunday, so as I colored my image, I had them color theirs with crayons.

Take a look:

They did a fantastic job.  Another great Sunday with my daughter and nieces!!

Now its your turn!! I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card is :

Week 175 - Pie

Take a look at my card:

Pie (CAS)

OMG!!  You can’t get any more Clean and Simple then this!!! I love it.

When I saw the cue card was pie, I knew I didn’t want to use the food pie because that was typical. So I thought about pi in math class.  I was going to draw the symbol but I can’t draw and that would have been a disaster waiting to happen.

So I went with the next best thing!!  The actually number for “pi”.

To create this card, I die cut a scrap piece of ink blended paper with Papertrey Ink Sew Stylish Number Die Collection. I used Tombow Multipurpose glue to adhere the number to the card base.   Nice and easy.

So what do you think?  Did I inspire you?

Now its your turn!! I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

CASology 174 – Owl

Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card is :

Week 174 - Owl

Take a look at my postcard:

Thank you Owl

Oh man, I’m super excited about this postcard!!  I love how this turned out.  This image and  is Flora (Winter Owl on Tree Stump) from Purple Onion Design and I LOVE it!!

When I first saw these images I thought they were super cute but two small to color or watercolor so I was afraid to buy them.  Then I saw my good friend Julia from Just One More Card use them and she convinced me to give these stamps a try and BOY I’m glad she did.

For this postcard, I watercolored my stamped image.

I used Prima Watercolor Pencils:

  1. Scenic Route #62 and #58
  2. Hair & Skin Tones #16 and #90
  3. The Basics #91 and #22
  4. Earth Tones #119 and #114

The “thank you” sentiment set is from Purple Onion Design as well.

I’m super proud of myself and this postcard.  The colors are amazing.

CASology 172 – Give

Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card is:

Week 172 - Give

Take a look at my card:

Congratulations (CAS)

I went with a very classic card today for our cue card!  People give gifts all the time so I figure I could demonstrate that.

To create this card was very simple:

  1. I used Create A Smile Wrap it Up stamp set and stamped my image and sentiment using my Misti and My Favorite Things Hybrid Ink.
  2. Then I colored my presents in using Copic markers: r37, R39, R89, Y38, YR68, YG03, YG25, YG17, Y02, Y15, Y19, B12, B14, B37, V15, V06, and V09.
  3. Then I trimmed my card panel down and adhered it to my card base.

Nice and easy!!  What do you think? Please let me know below.

Now its your turn!! I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

CASology 171- Vehicle

Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card is:

Week 171 - Vehicle

Take a look at my card:

Woohoo (CAS)

I love this little penguin from Create a Smile Penguin Party stamp set!!  When I saw the cue card word, I checked my stamp collection to see if I had any stamps with a vehicle.  The first set I saw was this one from Create a Smile.

This parachute is the penguin’s vehicle.  It’s taking him from high in the sky to the ground.  He looks like he is in no hurry either.

Here is how I created this card:

Last week, I saw a card design that Kristina Werner demonstrated and wanted to give it a try.

  1. I cut my card panel using Concord & 9th Bags & Tags Die.  I used the scallop die and cut the bottom portion of the cardstock off.
  2. Then I stamped my image and sentiment from Create a Smile Penguin Party stamp set.
  3. I colored my the penquin with Copic Markers: B12, B14, B37, YR68, C5.
  4. I added foam tape to the back of the card panel and layered it on top of the blue card base.
  5. I rounded the corners using the We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper.

Super, super clean and simple right?  Well I have to confess, I wanted to add some embellishments so bad, but opted out of it!!  LOL, I had to walk away.  Thank goodness I’m out of town so I can’t, LOL.

See, even us CAS gals, have the urge to embellish too!!

Now its your turn!! I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

CASology 170 – Hearts

Second Post for the day
If your looking for CASEing Kelly Blog Hop, click here

Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card is :

Week 170 - Heart

Take a look at my card:

Its Complicated (CAS)

Some times our hearts make things so complicated!!  I love this stamp set from So Suzy Stamps.  It’s totally perfect for this challenge!!  Once stamp set that says everything and it keeps my card CAS!!

To create this card all I did was stamp the heart part of the image in Lawn Fawn Lobster Ink and the sentiment part in My Favorite Things Hybrid Ink.

Super easy!

I have to admit, this wasn’t my first card.  I made my card and as I was putting my post together I realized our sponsor this week is So Suzy Stamps so I had to change my entry card!!  I have so many So Suzy Stamps that I had to use one of her sets for this challenge.

Take a look at my original card:

You have my heart (CAS)

This card was super easy to create too.  All I did was blend Distress Ink Scattered Straw and Spun Sugar in the center of my card.  A nice even layer.

Then I used a rub on to add my heart wreath and sentiment. Nothing more nothing less.  Since and clean and simple.

I love both cards!! I hope you do too!!  Let me know below!

Now its your turn!! I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

CASology 169 – Zombie

Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card is:

Week 169 - ZOMBIE

Take a look at my card:

Zombie

Now, to create this card, I had to do some research on an image!  I didn’t have any stamps that that went with this cue card so I had to find one fast.

I found this image on the Make it Crafty website.  I remember watching Zoe color her zombie color on Periscope last week and figured I could find an image that I would like on her site.

Here is how I created this card:

  1. I resized my image and created my own sentiment in photoshop and printed it on Canson Watercolor paper using my Epson XP-810 printer.
  2. Then I taped the watercolor paper down and began painting the image with Distress Inks Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Fired Brick, Gathered Twig and Hickory Smoke.
  3. Then I round the top two corner with my We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper.

Now its your turn!! I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

CASology 168 – You

CASology Badge shadow

Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Cue Card for you, but before I get into that, CASology has resigned the website!!  I love the new look.  Super clean, sharp, crisp and classy!!  I hope you like it as much as I do!!  Now on to the cue card!!

This week’s cue card is:

Week 168 - YOU revised

Take a look at my cards:

For You (CAS)

When I saw the cue card, I remember getting Lawn Fawn’s For You Die!  I sat for awhile thinking about what I wanted to do.  Then I remember, I didn’t post my Monday Giveaway on Instagram and that is when it hit me, that I could make thank you cards to add to the package.

I’m always searching for a card to include in the package and now these are super easy to make and send.   I couldn’t make just one, I make tons of them.

I cut my paper to 3 x 6, scored at 3.  Then I used all of my used watercolor papers, I have lying around to cut out the sentiment.  I added it to the front of my card base and that’s it!!

FullSizeRender(7)

Super easy!  I love having already made watercolor sheets for my cards.  I try and use every inch of my papers.  Can you tell?  LOL!!

Now its your turn!! I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
