{Clean and Simple} CASology 225 – Candle

Hello everyone!! It’s CASology Tuesday!! We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card:

For this week’s cue card, I used Sweet Stamp Shop Celebrate Cake and Altenew Celebrate Stamp set.

I stamped the images using the Mini Misti and Clearsnap Archival Wicked Black ink.
Then I colored the number and candle frame with Copic Markers.
After that I used We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper to round the bottom left corner of the card.

Super simple and easy.

{Clean and Simple} CASology 213 – Stitch

Hello everyone!! It’s CASology Tuesday!! We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

Peeping out to say (CAS)

This past week has been a bit hectic for me. I moved my son up to school for the very first time. I’m totally excited for him and his new step in life. I don’t want to be “that” mom but I don’t think I will be able to stop myself from sending him all sorts of packages full of goodies. Starting with this card. I think he will laugh when he gets this card in the mail.

When I saw the cue card, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to create. Then I remember receiving a few new stamps and dies from Taylored Expressions. The Pocketful of Sunshine set is perfect for a clean and simple card.

To create this card:

Cut the cardstock to 4 x 4.
Using the pocket die, cut out one pocket die.
Stamp an image from the Pocketful of Sunshine stamp set onto the front of the card base.
Color the image in with colored pencils.
Adhere the die cut pocket underneath the stamped image.
Stamp out the sentiment and the card is good to go.
Round the top corners of the card.

Clean and Simple Pocket Page Scrapbooking

Clearly Planned Week and Custom Post-It Note

Hello everyone!!! Today is the day for the big Clearly Planned Release!!

I have a lot to share so lets get started!

My weekly pages need to be full of detail so that I don’t miss all of the important things I have to do each day. Repeat stamping with the By Appointment stamp set allows me to see and remember the small task that can get lost during the day. My favorite stamps set from this collection is the Sneak a Peek stamp set. I love coloring those little animals. They make my pages fun.

First Page KT

I went with the color scheme of the pages, which was pink and black. I added gold because it adds pop to the pages. So I added washi tape to start off with. Then I stamped the little animals from the Sneak a Peek stamp set to fill in some pages. Coloring these images allowed me to bring in some my cardmaking skills to my planner pages.

Having a full time job, doesn’t allow me to do much during the week. The weekend is where most of my action happens. Its shameful that I only have two days. For this page, you can see what I have to do around my house and with my children.

Let take a closer look at some of my own personal style:

Watercoloring is my favorite medium to work with. It is fun and free of judgment. I created my own journaling card out of watercolor paper. I stamped and embossed using the Makin’ a List stamp set. I love how it turned out. It adds a piece of who I am to the pages.

I created another watercolor panel to die cut some butterflies out to add to the pages as embellishments.

For this cute giraffe for the Sneak a Peek stamp set, I extended the giraffe’s neck by masking what I already stamped and stamp only the neck again. Another card making technique.

Besides the new stamps and dies, the Clearly Planned line also has a collection called Sticky Situation. They are these super cute sticky notes that works well with the Makin’ a List stamp set. I absolutely love them.

I added the sticky note directly on my page to list out all of the things I need to do for the week using the same Makin’ a List stamp set. Its a check list so as I complete the task I can check it off and move on to the next thing.

Since my list is long, it will take me a couple of days to complete these task so adding it to two days in my spread is awesome. I can see what I have to do for those two days. Also if I need to change or add to those days, I can lift the sticky note and write directly on the page.

I have to say for a newbie, I really love how my pages turned out!! I’m impressed with myself and how pretty these blank pages turned out!!

DIY Teachers Notecards and a Farewell

I’m a planner newbie so trying to decide what I wanted to do on my pages took some thought. I decided that my monthly spread needed to be easy to see at a quick glance. The majority of my time is spent at my full time day job so being able to see what days are free makes it easy for me to plan all of my events.

All of the new Clearly Planned stamps are amazing. I love all of the color-in images. I can customize the colors that I use on my pages. I can see myself using the color-in stamps the most. I also love how all of the stamp sets can be used separately or together.

I can’t wait for all of you to see the new release. You will love them.

Clearly, We Have Something Big Planned

I have a huge announcement for all of you. I’m super excited to share this news with you. I’ve had to hold this secret for an entire month and a half.

Are you ready? Here goes:

A month and a half ago, I received an email from a talented young lady and business owner about joining her new design team called Clearly Planned. I was totally intrigued. So she sent me all of the info and can I tell you how excited I was.

Do you want to know more? Of course you do.

Taylor from Taylored Expressions add a new line of stamps to her store and they are called Clearly Planned. Can I tell you, how cute they are!! What makes them even better is that fact that they are for your planner!! Yes, I’m a new planner girl!!

{Clean and Simple} CASology 211 – Dream

Hello everyone!! It’s CASology Tuesday!! We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card:

Week 211 - Dream

When I saw this week’s cue card, I knew right away that I wanted to use Neat and Tangled Making Waves – Nice and Neat Dies. I love how the clouds are particle cut out of the card stock.

Creating this card was a breeze. I die cut the front of the white Bristol Smooth card panel using the Making Waves Die. Then I used a pencil to outline the circle, so that I knew where to apply the distress ink. I started with Distress Ink Tumbled Glass to create the sky. Then I came in with Distress Ink Broken China to darken it just a bit closer to the top of the sky. After that I used Distress Ink Forest Moss to create the ground.

Once all of the colors were down, I applied tumbled glass again over the entire scene to lighten the sky and the grass. Once I was satisfied with the way the scene looked, I used Concord & 9th Sophisticated Script Stamp Set and Clearsnap Colorbox Wicked Archival Ink to stamp the cue card word.

Then I placed a couple of dimensionals on the back of the card panel and placed it on top of the card base. Perfect!!!

I truly love how this card turned out. I think is absolutely perfect for this challenge. What do you think?
